I’m still working through reviewing Mirrin, but at least I’m well past the 100 page mark. There’s a few factors slowing me down:

  • Dealing with a lot of stress related to trying to buy a house. Turns out that banks hate people with all their bills paid off and no debts, which has me scrambling to provide them with various bill payment paperworks and still trying to get a mortgage approved. (I currently live in a medium-sized apartment and would rather not empty the TiTS bank for my own personal house :P)
  • Tomorrow I am having some dental deep cleaning done which will require a fair amount of pain killers and whatnot.
  • The day after tomorrow I’m having the other half of my dental work done. Supposedly I’m not cavity riddled – there’s just a lot of tartar buildup to deal with around/under the gum line.
    • Protip: get your regular cleanings, folks.

I’m gonna try and do some more reviewing now, but I wouldn’t be surprised if I don’t get that far. My nerves are basically shot. Thanks, anxiety, you bitch.

It had been a couple of days since the U.G.C. had intercepted that one shipment of slaves bound for known pirate territory.

They had received an anonymous tip from someone claiming to have been to the asteroid known as ‘Zheng Shi’ that a ship containing slaves bound for the pirate base would be at a very specific set of coordinates.  And it was true: an unmarked cargo ship was in the area, travelling in that direction, and onboard were more than three dozen captured slaves of all races, from humans to Ausar to Saurmorian and everything in between, detained and placated by their Slyveren captives.

Last Avery heard, the U.G.C. were still sorting out the slaves and helping them get back to their home territories.  She, meanwhile, had the ‘pleasure’ of processing the Slyveren.

Sometimes, she felt like she should consider it a gift: you’d think being a guardswoman in a place like Gastigoth would be full of tension and drama.  It’s a prison! That alone should be enough to make some of the more hardened veterans balk at the idea of working there. But Gastigoth wasn’t just any prison – it was a space station, meant to detain only the most hardened of criminals!  Even if one of them got out of their cells, where would they escape to?

But that was just it.  Gastigoth was an impenetrable bubble of a prison: once you’re in, you’re not getting out.  None of the inmates had the balls to try anything untoward, and even if they did, the prison had… methods to keep them docile.  You had the occasional rough-houser, of course, but generally they were all either too smart, or too doped up, to try anything stupid.

It made being a guardswoman at such a high-profile prison boring.  Can you imagine that?  Being a prison guard was boring!

Luckily, she had the ‘pleasure’ of booking the Slyveren that had been detained in the raid.  It was a break from the monotony, maybe, but it was also paperwork. And none of them even put up a fight.

There was one Slyveren in particular that Avery kept thinking about, though.

Hi friends! CoC2’s backer patch has a new enemy I wrote long ago (salvaged from Fall of Eden, rest in puppers). More importantly, it’s got a significant combat code refactoring — mostly under the hood changes to let things like on-hit effects and ripostes work properly. Drake worked hard on it, so give it a spin!

CoC2 0.1.18 Patch Notes:

  • A new enemy is encountered in Harvest Valley — the Moth Girl Thief!
  • Garret can now be challenged to drinking contests (by Tobs)
  • Kas has a new victory option in her 2nd encounter for giving her a blowjob. Don’t get TOO overzealous in worshiping her…
  • Combat code refactor is in. Please direct bugs to the bug report section.

  • A new enemy can now appear on both levels of Zheng Shi’s forge deck: the Corona Lord flamer, or as we on the dev team refer to her as: firepup. She’s a violent sadomasochist with a bit of a fire fetish, and I personally would not recommend losing to her if you don’t care for being degraded. If you do, well… I guess you’re a bad boy/girl.

We’ll have ties be ties in blackjack in a patch (later today, hopefully).

0.7.275:

  • Blackjack minigame has been updated so that nobody wins or loses on a tie. Wheeeeee~!
  • [Imagepack Only] You no longer need to ask Roo about herself 50 times to unlock talking about her job. It has been set to 5. This’ll be in the normal backer patches moving forward.

Roo taking care of the PC after an intense round of blackjack by Octomush!

Before I get too deep into it, I’d like to remind you all that CoC2 also had a public patch a few days ago.

Now what’s new in this patch? 0.7.273 Changelog, here we go:

  • [0.7.274 Fix] Roo now stands at 16 while the robot dealer stands at 17.
  • [0.7.274 Fix] Fixed a crash on Roo’s “Table Fuck” scene.
  • [0.7.274 Fix] Fixed an issue with blackjack that would prevent the dealer from hitting to their assigned value if doing so would cause them to win early.
  • New NPC in Zheng Shi’s Recreation Deck: Roo the blackjack dealer. This cute bunny-cat will reward your victories by progressively stripping down and eventually climaxing messily. This no easy feat on its own, but if you can do it repeatedly, she’ll even start offering you sex afterwards. Lady Luck be with you! (Thanks to William for writing her. Here’s hoping I didn’t mangle the coding too bad!)
  • New image pack images added: Roo table fuck and Roo under table lick.
  • You can no longer bet mid-game in blackjack, and the dealer stands at 17.
  • Assorted typo and bug fixes thanks to Jacques00.

Hey guys, out-of-town-oxo here to let you know that just because I’ve been hecka busy being away from my workstation doesn’t mean I’ve forgotten about you. I got some work done before I left AND found time to do a little bit of fun in between con-related activities. On top of that, Wsan and our volunteer coders have kept the progress coming! Choo choo!

I’ll do our own public patch sometime after I’m at home this week!

0.7.272 Changelog (PLEASE UPDATE):

  • Several new changes that were  supposed  to be in 0.7.271 should actually be included now. My bad!

0.7.271 Changelog:

  • I’ve dialed back the joke text adjustments for April Fools. They were a bit over the top, and we’re gonna keep things a little more serious from now on.
  • A new SSTD that I’m rather proud of has  been added to the game. It comes on fast and finishes quicker than a pent-up laquine.
  • An awesome new dream for penis-toting PCs with Kase a crewmember has been added. Big shout out to HugsAlright for slinging it at me!
  • Laquine Pregnancy Busts should show properly.
  • Bored Jumpers can give you SSTDs again.  This was improperly removed during the pregnancy update.
  • You can now make some fun bets with Haley. Thanks to Lighterfluid for coding it and Wsan for writing it up!
  • Amber now has an option for having threesomes with Anno, again written by Wsan and coded by Lighterfluid.
  • Added a new story to the game, “Breeding Sylvie.” It’s available for purchase from Mabbs, who in-game wrote it. Thanks to Gardeford for actually writing it!
  • You can now jab Haley with some Throbb, if you like bad ideas. Again, by Wsan, coded by Lighterfluid.
  • You can’t go to sleep in the Battle for Korg’ii Hold any longer.
  • A lot of other fixes and tweaks (but not much for Blackjack yet. Sorry!)

[Backers] 0.7.270 Repeatable Dane

No promises, but I’ll be trying to code together William’s sexy blackjack dealer, Roo, before I leave for PAX later in the week. In the meantime, enjoy all this stuff! More Dane will be coming next week. I have three other talk discussions planned as well as at least two other scenes where he fucks you pieces. Let me know what you think in the comments.

0.7.270 Changelog:

  • Dane can be encountered on the recreation deck of Zheng Shi. Head up the cargo elevator after taking out the LDC and Shock Hopper! Presently he’s rocking a small selection of talk topics and a rather involved oral scene with lots of variations for bimbos/snakebyte/deepthroat/normal folks. More will come!
  • The casino on the recreation deck is live with a basic blackjack game. Expect it to be refined and adjusted in the future, but for now feel free to abuse it and let me know what you think! (We officially have our own game with blackjack and hookers.)
  • Nonesuch’s “Sera Milkings” have been added to the game.
  • “Kelly Hyper BJ” by Wsan has been added to the game. Go suck sum bun!
  • New Aliss for dick-wielders by yours truly.
  • More fixes for laquine pregnancy.
  • Pregnant Jumper busts were added, though I think a glitch in code merging has them disabled for now, so I’ve included them with this post. <3
  • Various typo fixes and bug fixes.

Quick Update on Fen Progress

Hey guys, I’ve been waffling about putting out a patch ever since my last stream a little earlier in the week. We got a functional blackjack system up and running (though without a stripping dealer) and a new Aliss scene loaded up in the game that I wrote for her author’s birth-dizzle.

In addition to that, I’ve written 11 pages of Dane, almost all of non-sexual. It took all that to handle encountering him while also allowing an opportunity for some catharsis (and using the fact that you’re in a pirate casino to keep things from erupting into a full on combat encounter for the revenge-minded). I’m really enjoying fleshing him out a little and giving his personality a chance to breathe something besides “angry dogboi mercenary.” It’s my fervent wish that you guys enjoy the final product, though I’m cognizant that dommy characters (especially ones who have wronged the PC at some point) are often lightning rods for criticism.

There’s also some fixes for Jumper pregnancies in the code hopper coming along with a new scene for Kelly, I think. And maybe a new story piece for the Codex… I still have to read the story Gardeford passed me. My goal is to slip something out by Tuesday at the latest, even if it comes down to only having one or two smut scenes to go with Dane’s first content chunk.

Lastly – I’ll be out of town in the second half of this coming week for PAX East! I’ll try and share some moments with you all on here and twitter if anything fun happens!
