Just jammed up 0.6.39 to try and fix some persistent issue; this should maybe fix the issues people were having creating new games or loading saves with a set caption() error.

Public Release – Tainted Space 0.6.38!
EDIT: The android download links have been tweaked and they should be working A-Okay now.
EDIT EDIT: Made some more changes to some of the download pages; if you’re not seeing the version you’re expecting, force-refresh/clear cache (or wait like, 12 hours or somethin for the old cache time to expire).

0.6.38 Changelog:
- You can now collect panties from five new characters! Four are on Myrellion. Good luck finding them all~
- There are now scenes for using panties that came from 100% female NPCs.
- Jotted out some further discussion with Emmy about her implant.
- Added a bunch of new status effect icons and started recoloring some of them to better differentiate them. Thanks Geddy for whipping up the subsystem for this!
- Lewded up a few of Emmy’s old talk scenes and menus.
- Some crashy issues have been fixed.
Also, for those wondering about it, I hear Gedan has been poking at coding the final dungeon stuff we jotted down for CoC.
New Since Last Public Build
- New Busts: Vahn, Aina, Cass, Vaande, Emmy, Wetra Hound,
- The culmination of the quest to get with Emmy (until I wind up deciding to make her a crewmate) and some lovely new scenes.
- Dynamic, fluid-based belly deformation.
- New Item: Nyrean Candy – transforms the user into a Nyrea.
- Zeikfried’s crystal goo fights are added to the game. They can be found in the deep caves. Gardeford’s crystal goo are still there in silly mode.
- New Vahn scenes.
- Three NPC’s and a whole new deck added to Tavros.
- Game credits are no longer placeholder – mostly.
- New Item: Mangos
Next month is looking bright. I’m going to wrap up Emmy (there’s still a scene I want to do), and it’s pretty damned likely I’ll be starting Uveto. There’s some real nice content in the hopper just waiting for my hot little hands to get on it!

Bug Hunting!
There’s two big bug-hunting initiatives at the moment that I wanted to bring your attention to.
First up is Gedan’s quest to solve some bizarre crash bugs that have rendered the game unplayable for some individuals. If your symptoms match what’s described in this thread, please post there with all the requested data so that we can get it working for you.
Secondly is my own mini initiative. When we started the game, there was no code for tracking where fluids went long term, then we got the “loadIn” series of functions, courtesy of Gedan. They were mainly only used for determining pregnancy, and as such, not much attention was paid in cases that couldn’t result in pregnancy. Now, with Emmy, I’ve introduced the ability for fluids to bulge bellies or splatter all over a character, but I need help finding exactly which scenes need updated.
If you notice a scene isn’t correctly filling or soaking you, please help me out by going over to the forums and following the instructions.
So what else have I done today? Added ten or fifteen new status effect icons we can use, started categorizing status effects by color. Harmful ones in red and long-term passives in purplish. Sometime I’ll get around to doing the buffs in green, I guess. I also made a few tweaks to lewd up Emmy’s talk scenes and sex menu texts. Gonna go write that discussion about her implant now!
Art is a quick sketch Jacqeus00 doodled up when I was bitching about a lack of Emmy fanart weeks ago. It’s the last piece of her I’ve got to share until I can find someone to draw her trying to squeeze into her panties, so enjoy!

Looks like our build scripts that Geddy maintains are choking on trying to build the credits pages into the game, so I’m going to have to just release the .swf for now. Hopefully we can have that cleaned up and released ASAP. There’s also a backlogged chunk of code Jacques00 worked up that’ll introduce a nyrean transformation that we should have in real soon.
Update: Got the build scripts sorted (kinda) and the new stuff merged. The new builds should show up on Patreon/TaintedSpace.com any time now.

Emmybuns
Took me a day longer than originally planned to finish up the sex scene I needed. I started putting text to code last night, but it might wind up being Monday before we see the build with her, it being the weekend and all. It all depends on how much time I spend coding instead of hanging out with my girlfriend in the evenings and how tired I am from getting up at 6am to do family stuff. I miss having weekends with no responsibilities.
I’ll keep you posted.
Gedan is looking into the crash on new game/load that seems to be affecting some Firefox users, but I can’t guarantee we’ll have a fix. It seems to run fine on chrome or decently up to date flash players.

- Zeikfried’s crystal goo variants have finally come out of the oven. You can play around with them in the deep caves of Myrellion with silly mode off. (Silly mode replaces them with Gardeford’s fun-loving lovelies!)
- Fixed an issue that would cause Faux Preg pregnancies to glitch out after ~1200 days.
- Cut the “GROUNDED” flag from the one piece of armor it was used on – it’s a relic that I believed I decided against using, and that armor already has electrical resistance coded.
- Tarkus’s sex-bots should no longer sometimes appear as the incorrect gender.
- Nerfed Nyrean Praetorians slightly.
- Should fix some combat crashes in specific encounters.
- Bunches of bug fixes and textual tweaks courtesy of Jacques00.

One Emmy Scene Left To Write…
At least to have the minimum conclusion to her sexy-stuff path. Expect a patch tomorrow with the Crystal Goo stuff. A patch where you can proper fuck Emmy should hit around the end of the week (assuming i can write one more sex scene). I just have to write a scene where Emmy fucks the PC for vags and butts, and blammo.

[Backer Release] 0.6.34, The JimThermic Edition
Hey guys, it looks like JimThermic is retiring from TiTS writing. There’s still a few odds and ends of his in the hopper, but it works out nicely that there’s a ton of content from him in this patch to say goodbye with. We’re all gonna miss him, I think.

Fixing Bugs & Love
Thanks for being so patient. I spent a lot of time this afternoon cleaning up some of the bug reports on the bug report board and sorting through merge requests from Jacques00 and Savin. I’m going to review some code that’s been thrown at me for ANOTHER character on JimThermic’s residential deck, and then maybe poke at Emmy a little if I have time. I’ve almost finished up writing on a scene where you get to turn on a sex-toy she wears 100% of the time remotely.
Then I just have to write actual, proper sex >.>

So we figured out that the Vahn scenes Savin insisted he coded never got pull requested into the main branch of code… so they’ll be in the next backer build.
I’m also cleaning up a pull request for JimT’s residential deck at the moment, so you’ll have that to look forward to.
Edit: Looks like my griping got him to finish up a scene for taurs. Woopwoop! I think I’ll drop backers a new build with all this stuff tomorrow-ish. The JimThermic update.
