Something like 14,000 words later, it occurs to me I may have made Shade somewhat more involved than originally intended. For those of you who enjoy roleplaying, I think her little mini-expansion here will give you some meat to chew on if you’ve set yourself on one of her more complex relationship paths. Just about done with it, aside from a couple alterations to her existing talk/sex stuff so that she can be properly moved to Uveto. Also included: an introduction to her daughter Astra, who I’m very much looking forward to seeing in-game.

Once I’ve got Shade wrapped up enough for now, I reckon it’s about time Reaha’s addiction cure path got some love. Assuming I can avoid any more health crises anyway (I’m doing better, by all accounts).

Not much to say other than that. Just figured I’d touch base once in a full blue moon.

P.S. Also got some art of the Gnoll Princess from CoC by Cheshire, post some incidental TFs while adventuring. Was saving it for last week, but I somehow avoided bad-ending myself in Adjatha’s game! Try, try again I guess.

*Ehem* So I’m going to try and ease back into work and streams this week. Medication and sleep deprivation are leaving me feeling a little weird still, but the smut train just ain’t got no brakes. Can’t promise how much I’m going to be able to get done in the immediate future, but barring any more unfortunate incidents, I’m hoping to have Shade’s mini-update done on the writing front sometime next week. Thank you all for the many, many well-wishes and stories on my last post. I really do appreciate them.

Anyway, I finished writing a latex-bodysuit-wearing whore for Beth’s yesterday. She was a lot of fun to work on — probably the most enjoyable bit of lewdness I’ve worked on in a while. Shame the overly intricate and detailed backstory I outlined for her never came up, but oh well.

Gonna start working on moving Shade over from Myrellion to Uveto today, for those PCs who’ve unlocked that story beat. Not going to be too involved to start with, but expect to see some e-mails in your Codex of various emotional content by the time you arrive on the moon, probably some new talk scenes. Slowly but surely clearing out that backlog.

But in all seriousness, as Fen mentioned below, I finally worked up the willpower to make myself finish Yammi. That felt good, though it was probably the least fun I’ve ever had writing TiTS content. Other than that, I recently slapped together the encounter map and the room descriptions (oh god those were a pain! So many!) for the Ice Plains of Uveto — that’s where you’ll be fighting the various mobs like Adj’s Korgonne or Nonesuch’s Stormguard warriors — plus an encounter with some very flirty scientists on the space station who’ll make sure you have what you need to survive planetside.

Also did the very basic-most interactions with a Treated Ausar (aka Hellhound) shopkeeper on the station who’ll sell things like heat belts, survival gear, and other necessities. To do: any sort of meaningful interactions. Also a Huskar TF (aka “Chubby floofy ausar variant”). I wrote a thing for the player being able to start as a half-Gryvain (aka dragon futa waifu race), though I doubt that’s anywhere near the coding priority now. Plus a Kaede encounter for Uveto Station, though I’d like to expand that a bit more now that the planet-side (moon-side???) content is getting fleshed out.

Immediate plans: finish a new whore at Beth’s (who I had to sideline for Uveto stuff but who just needs some finishing touches), try and probably fail to code her myself, then do the Very Bare Minimum to get Shade set up so you can bump into her at the Irestead bar, so we can actually move her there rather than having her be mysteriously still on Myrellion forever. Her actual content expansion on the planet is going to be pretty in depth, so I’d rather clear out some of these half-finished projects before I get started on it!

I don’t make blog posts very often. Never really feel like I have anything to say that justifies making one. But, uh, there you go I guess. I’ve been fairly productive, yay.

I’ve been sick for like, a month. Pretty much went from the flu, to getting my wisdom teeth out, to having that cause me some pretty nasty sinus issues. I haven’t really been able to get more than a few hours of work in here and there since mid February. Slowly but surely getting back into the swing of things here, though.

At least that’s given me a chance to work on some other non-TiTS projects for a bit. Nice to have a chance to take a break, I guess, even if there’s entirely too much sick in the background. No real news on the TiTS front: I’m pretty much working on the same things as from the last time I made a post.

Quick progress report re: Uveto for you.

For those of you who don’t frequent the forums, Uveto VII is the next TiTS planet in the pipeline. Like New Texas, it’s an optional side-world, this time balanced against levels 6-9 and full of quests and critters to fight. Right now the first two areas are mapped and room description’d, and I’m finishing off the last bit of an alternative introduction to the planet (so no, it’s not entirely gated behind Shade — don’t worry). We’ve got a couple of enemy encounters done now with more on the way, so I suppose I’ll be mapping and description-ing out the combat areas sometime this upcoming week. That’s definitely entering the “bare minimum to start coding in” territory, though we’ve only got two shopkeepers done(ish) and in need of edits.

I’m definitely going to need to clear out my backlog before I start mainlining Uveto content, though. Yammi, Reaha, and Syri all have xpaks in various states of (near-)completion that need to finally be sorted out before I start looking at Shade or some of the new Uveto NPCs.
