[Public | TiTS] Updates!

So for those who missed yesterday’s update, Anno petplay is on the menu, but first let me drop an update about the javascript port: it’s fucking awesome. It really is. Seeing the pieces finally snapping together in very functional ways had me absolutely giddy during the team meeting today, even if I was massively undercaffeinated.

Today I was able to:

  • Take a flight from Tavros to Mhenga (now that ships are added with setup for them having their own internal maps down the road. It’s still early days though, so not a 100% promise.)
  • Engage in combat on Mhenga! I was running around punching Zil and stuff, no problem!
  • Pop-out a “large” map view! We’re still working on the scaling and such, but gone are the days of only seeing a handful of rooms in any direction.
  • Observe just how much snappier it plays. I’m not used to just how quick the UI responds compared to the flash version.

Now on to the PUBLIC PATCH!

0.8.151 Changelog:

  • Image-embedded version updated! (Requires a stand-alone flash player to use and 600+MB of free storage space.)
  • The “Anno Walking You” event now has a few new scenes added: one for New Texas, one for bumping into Syri, and one for running into Kaede.
  • Fixed a bug where bad pets would wind up with a next button that doesn’t work.
  • Fixed some broken parsers, a bold bleed, and some variants that didn’t have logic.
  • Fixed the taursuit accidentally giving double taint.
  • Tweaked some codexes, lore, and the appearance screen so that some things could be clarified and more consistent, so: ausar don’t have slitted eyes, gryvain knots are functional knots, and Fen has a big ol’ ween.
  • New Busts: Updated Big T (Shou), Anno Huskar Casual, non-Huskar Anno (&nude & casual), Alexandra, the Dong Designer, and the Mindwash Visor.


[Backers | TiTS] A Metric Pup-load

First up: Public patch tomorrow (or Thurs, depending). I acknowledge that it’s been over a month since the last one, but backers have faced a similar drought. Letting our supporters enjoy the petplay first (and help us find bugs) means backers don’t get stranded with a game-breaker for a whole month (hopefully.) Expect to see our tempo pick back up.

0.8.150 Changelog:

  • Anno and pet-play: has there ever been a more iconic duo? Well now you can invert the pet-play and get walked all over some of your favorite locales thanks to William. This mega-scene clocks in at almost 150 pages in the google document and takes up around 5,000 lines of code in the game files. To unlock it, suggest getting walked to Anno in her talk menu, just do the deed. After your first go-round, a dedicated button will appear in her sex menu.
    • Due to the size and complexity I couldn’t possibly test every potential variation. Expect this one to come with some bugs. I already managed to track down a nasty bold bleed buried two or three variations deep.
  • Urbolg sells a new item: the Techsuit. Thanks to DrunkZombie for coding on it!
  • New poster in TamaniCorp shop: juice that makes you cum super hard, featuring art from Servik (if you’re using the art-embedded version).
  • New embedded image for finding a synthsheath, by Servik.
  • A few small bugs and fixes.

There are several more mini-events left for me to plug into walkies for tomorrow – as well as some absolutely primo backlogged busts. I’ll drop those in your lap soon – as well as the latest news and updates on the javascript port. Lately progress on that front has been swift and visually appealing!

Tainted Space: Development Update

What up? Where we at?

Police officers come in all kinds of flavors in the distant future…

Development on the port to javascript-based (aka in-browser 2, the electric fuckaloo) is going well. The inventory backend is now functional and working. I can run around Tavros and buy things at Sera’s and check them out in my inventory. Saving and loading works. The map works. Leek has been crushing polishing up bugs so that you can actually run around Tavros without crashing. Gedan is now burrowing into ship nonsense so that you can actually fly to Mhenga (and actually walk around INSIDE your ships potentially).

I’ve been pestering Jacques00 to weld in the morphable outline for a PC character bust into the game – those who kept an eye on my twitter will remember seeing a preview of that forever ago, but with luck we’ll be wiring that morphable holographic outline hotness up to actual PC data values soon.

We’re to the point where we’re talking about how soon we can make the WIP build available to backers pretty frequently, and I think that’s going to be coming sooner than later, though I still can’t offer a date.

I am indeed a fan of babs.

What I can offer is the knowledge that William has been cranking up some great stuff for the brothel on Dhaal, and Savin has been writing Syri’s crew content with the improved parser helpfully donated (not stolen, I swear!) from CoC2 so that it can be implemented rapidly with the switch to javascript. Adjatha has been doing some writing on his own on top of a bunch of new busts. When the next flash patch hits, it’s going to come with some new busts hotter than surface of a lava-girl’s tiddies.

And speaking of busts – they’re functional in javascript now in a big way, and built in a way that should make it easy to let you guys pop out larger versions of the busts on demand without having to download a special, chonky new build, bandwidth permitting.

TiTS-Dev Weekly Report

It is Wednesday my lewds! That means we on the TiTS team had our weekly meeting, and I’m granted the lovely task of relaying our progress on to you, the discerning smutsumer:

  • Personally I’ve been working on coding on William’s Anno petplay event. (The player character is the pet this time.) It’s a 130 page google document with numerous random events, lots of support for huskar Anno, text to support futanari variants of the character down the line, should they happen, and even a scoring system to grade you on how good of a pet you’ve been on your walk! Are you a good enough boy or girl to get the headpats you so rightly deserve? Find out next patch.
  • Geddy is still deep in the code. Last week, we discussed the inventory system near the end of the meeting. The current one isn’t what you could call clean. I certainly wouldn’t bring it home to dinner with my mother. Fortunately our resident draconic script-queen has been hard at work rebuilding it from the ground up to be better, cleaner, and more robust… which means touching the Creature class… which lead to the effort to better organize the Creature class functions and variables into more logical patterns – in itself a massive undertaking. This lead to some fun discoveries like a function where the variables for balls and clits were somehow swapped around, or two functions with wildly different names that accomplished the same thing in slightly different ways.
  • Did you think I was done talking about Gedan’s work already? You thought wrong! She also implemented an automated testing system for the game that new patches will have to run through. Right now, since she’s working in the inventory, she has it making sure that the game can load and arrange inventory items, but it can do so much more. We could have it actually load a save and run around on Mhenga! We could make it fight enemies! Any time new code lands, we can have the game automatically make sure that it still works correctly, and if not, prevent the new code from going in until it does! It’s a whole new world! A new fantastic code to do! Programming to tell us no, and where to go, and that the cunts are creaming~! (…I’m sorry… I couldn’t resist.)
  • The forum got some new art to replace the placeholder stuff, courtesy of Jacques00. I’m sitting on the high rez, full color versions for now in case we find a use for it later, but let me just say that Cait in a steelesuit and packing a little extra looks goooood.
  • Savin has been working on some content for going back to Doctor Teyaal after you’ve stolen the Sidewinder as a break from the infinite puppers.
  • Will has several projects he’s intending to drop in my lap next week – like new stuff for the brothel on Dhaal, slavesuit content for Zheng Shi, and a cavalcade of CGs coming up from artists. “Like 10 various art commissions”. It’s a lot.
  • Adjatha has finished up the writing for punishment wall content (but is still going to do some editing on it). He also doodled up a lovely alien design as a result of a conversation Savin and I were having in public discord about a crossbreed of gryvain and kui-tan so that we could have gryvains with giant balls… which also lead to the thought that the half-gryvain-half-kuitan might still have internal testes too… which would then swell up, making their asses gigantic if they haven’t gotten off in a while. This might get developed into a character somewhere… see attached sketch :3

[Backers | TiTS] Introduction to Bad Ends

New day, new patch! With a lot of the rest of the team busy elsewhere, I’ve been cranking on bug reports a lot by myself – with some gracious help by SeriousBlueJewel reporting so many trouble spots, and sometimes even leaving me notes on quick fixes. That sort of knowledgeable help is always appreciated, even if sometimes the bug doesn’t always turn out to be a bug.

0.8.149 Changelog:

  • New bad end for Overqueen Ysolte, by William. Lose to her after raising her lust to 100 to experience it!
  • Tutorial message added: it should now recommend you save the game in Ysolte’s office before fighting her, just in case…
  • Tutorial message added: if you used your survival tent before getting to the tutorial, I made some text changes about somehow skimping by with what little power it has left, to help preserve immersion. I’m not going to bad-end someone by covering them in acid because they used a mechanic before the tutorial for it.
  • New Bust: Anno (non-huskar) by ToonNik
  • New embedded image (only in the embedded images version) for Salacious Sally, the slyveren on Dhaal. It’s drawn by Winemomicorn and is fucking amazing!
  • If you spot Dane in New Texas’s milker barn, he will no longer mention your cousin after he loses his employment with them.
  • The Gryvain Tech has had a missing newline in her post-combat text added.
  • Fixed Molli’s cleaning scene not actually cleaning tall PCs.
  • Dicksprout can no longer be used on non-long tails.;
  • Support functions for matching genital types to race types have been improved to better work with lion-morphs made by Lion-Os.
  • Typos, minor grammar errors, and broken parser calls fixed.
  • Geddy improved our android build delivery to hopefully eliminate the dreaded “Error parsing package” message for most users.

With that out of the way, I’d like to mention my friend Anonymous Man’s latest game: “The Guide to Being Assertive“. A lot of people found their way to my games from the community he built around one of his previous games, “Cursed,” and we’ve been friends ever since. (Damn near a decade at this point!) I played through a demo he passed me the other week with a pretty hefty chonk of initial content and a lot of ambition. [Public] Squishin’ Bugs

Fen here with a long overdue public patch. Mostly I’ve just been fixing bugs of late. Producing sensual writing has been… hard lately. I’m not sure how much of this is due to getting older, how much is my medication, and how much is just plain burnout from a decade of churning out magma-hot smut, reading other people’s highly varied smut (for review), and coding smut (both mine and others). All I know that I’m so much slower than I used to be, and I don’t like it any more than you do.

Saying it out loud like that sounds like admitting defeat, and I’m not. This is still the best fucking job on the planet, and I’m hardly the only person involved at this point. Let me drop the patch notes, and I’ll share some WIP screenshots from the javascript build after the break!

0.8.148 Changelog:

  • Image-embedded version updated! You can grab it off Mega, but you’ll need a stand-alone flash player that can handle it’s 600MB+ girth to play with it. What’s different? You can zoom in on most character busts and some scenes come with embedded art. Enjoy!
  • Shekka, Tuuva, and Del all had modifications made to their “give a synthsheath” routines to better handle “first-time” uses (in the event text) and to unlock the Codex entry if needed at the end.
  • Fixed a large number of small bugs in Gianna’s content.
  • Giving Gianna silicone should now give slightly Gianna slightly more confidence, better enabling you to max out her confidence score before recruiting her (or after).
  • Fixed Molli being able to impregnate you when she shouldn’t be able to impregnate you.
  • Fixed some broken parsers in Molli’s bad end.
  • Sera’s “Tainted Love” event has had its odds changed: 0 chance first time they pick up the salary, 2/3s chance thereafter until it activates, 1/4 chance for the repeat after the PC’s gotten it.
  • The Gabilani Chemist should no longer use her weapon while disarmed… unless I missed another check somewhere.
  • The Gabilani Chemist’s oral addiction unlock scene should no longer be repeatable. Silly me, letting you unlock the same perk multiple times!
  • Milodan Futazons should play nicer with “blocked” orifices.
  • The Gabilani Cyborg now has fixed sexual preferences.
  • The Gabilani Cyborg’s lock-on attack now properly increases her accuracy by 30%. (It also displays as an visible icon on the cyborg’s stat pane.)
  • The Gabilani Cyborg’s aimed shot now does a little increased damage.
  • The Gryvain Techie got some tweaks to her AI routine to help her use her abilities at the correct time.
  • Pheromones and the “Sweet Tooth” effect should now both increase tease “to-hit” chance.
  • EMP grenades shouldn’t display damage twice any longer.
  • A few more places properly track you slipping a load into Feruze.
  • Fixed a few incorrect checks in Ardia’s content.
  • All text will no longer become bold if you recruit Gianna with a “Hard” personality type.
  • Typo fixes and minor bugfixes I probably forgot to list because they’re so minor or were committed to the github too stealthily for my big dumb minotaur eyes.

[TiTS | Backer] Sploosh.

0.8.147 Changelog:

  • Molli can now be interacted with at Cherry’s Tap-Hall whenever Cherry is busy in her room. The big squishy goo comes with six different talk topics and four sex scenes, as well as a possible bad-end for those with truly titanic loads (36 thousand liters or more).
  • New Gianna scenes: ‘taur service. While it’s one button, the scene is vastly different depending on which set of genitals you direct her to pleasure.
  • New Anno pic in the image pack for huskar Anno in a maid outfit.
  • Azariah can now play with Paige and Kiro assuming you have both onboard!

Update: I wrote this last night but the build deployment choked. Now Geddy has it fixed but my home internet is out, so patreon and SS posts and image pack uploads will have to wait.


[Backers | TiTS] Molten Azariah

Well, the air conditioning in my office is out. It got hot enough for one of the grip pads on my mouse to separate the other night. I still managed to chunk out more Azariah, but I must flee back to the respite of my laptop for now…

Time to replace the ol’ Death Adder…

  • New Azariah scene: Marathon! Have a marathon bang with Azariah and her harem. Depending on the player character’s libido, this scene can extend on for quite a while…
  • New Azariah scene: Share (w/Harem)! Have fun with one part of Azariah while her harem helps with the other.
  • Cleaned up a few small bugs in Azariah and probably introduced a bunch more in the process.


[Public | TiTS] More Fixing Bugs

Heyo, I have to say, resorting all the bugs from the bug report forum a second time took longer than I expected given that we had most of the new ones handled already. So, in light of that I’ve fixed a bunch more and pushed one last public patch before I dip into shoveling hot new content out for the backers.

  • Re-merged some of DrunkZombie’s pregnancy changes that got lost in the server-moving shuffle.

0.8.144 Changelog:

  • If you choose “Stay Solo” after completing Kiro’s recruitment quest, you should now be able to recruit onto your crew later, and yes, she comes with the ship.
  • A spot where you could cum in Feruze without it being tracked was found and fixed.
  • Fixed another issue with the “Get Service” scenes for the “The Twins” in Kiro’s quest that should improve the accessibility of the phallic version.
  • Fixed handling of back-mounted genitalia’s orgasms in a scene with the gabilani chemist.
  • Fixed a random variant in Feruze’s 69 scene not being random.
  • Fixed two broken parsers in Azariah’s scenes.
  • Added texts for NPCs using the “Low Blow” attack and hitting but not stunning. Previously, no text was written for this scenario.
  • Half-Leithans should no longer have their race show as “Leithan” at creation.
  • The Gabilani Chemist’s “Insta-rut” and “Insta-heat” attacks will now only be used if the PC is eligible for those status affects.
  • Feruze has been assigned a modest grouping of sexual preferences. Previously, she had none defined. These affect the effectiveness of tease attacks.
  • Fixed a small pile of typos.

JavaScript Port Updates:

  • We officially brought Leek onto the team part-time to help Gedan with the porting legwork.
  • Though Leek hasn’t reported to me on it yet, I can see the repo, and porting of Breedwell and Aurora is already ongoing.
  • Geddy’s been chasing server shit most of the weekend. Just today I noticed I couldn’t paste images into forum posts for quick attachment/embeds and got that fixed, and DrunkZombie notices some email confirmation issues that might need handling too. Bear with us as we file off the rough edges.
  • Speaking of the new server, it’s handling the load like a champ. Depending on how it keeps up, I may see about directly hosting image-embedded builds in the future.

It’s midnight here now, so instead of coding the Azariah stuff for backers tonight, I’ll have to poke at that tomorrow, assuming I’m not eaten by family responsibilities. (Edit: It looks like the patch deployment system was broken when I wrote this, so the update got delayed a bit…) Figuring out the various issues with Kiro recruitment burned more time than I thought. Who would have thought having an NPC that:

  • can be two different followers
  • can finish recruitment of at any time
  • comes with her own ship whether you have room or not

…would be fiddly…?


Server Go Boom

Well, our old web host hurried us along by randomly imploding this morning. What you see now is the new server. It comes with a fatter pipe to more easily pump out all that thick, juicy content you’ve come to expect from us and our games. Of course, it’s not all positives. This surprising turn of events put a few kinks in our tentacles:

  • We didn’t get to make a last-minute backup of all the blog and forum data. That means a day got Thanos-snapped off the forums, and my last patch was caught in the corssfire.
  • Our git and backend pipeline for deploying new builds also got interrupted. It may be a little bit until the “Play” and “Backer Builds” headings are able to update with fresh patches as they used to.

In the meantime, I can still link you guys to the image-embedded version .swf for the bug fixes I did last night, if you have a stand-alone flash player to open it with.
