New month! How are you all doing? I crawled out of the write-mines to clear up some of the bug reports and get you all out a public patch today. In that sense, I was successful. Bugs, of course, do what bugs do best and continued to outnumber me in spite of my attempts to squash them. Tomorrow I’ll be paging through some of the unsolved mysteries and cleaning up any new ones you all find tonight for a public patch update. Perhaps that will grant us all a measure of peace.

After that, I’ll be back to working on writing content for an expanded introductory dungeon we’ve been putting together. It should help set the player up to hit the ground running on Mhen’ga while also providing a chance for players to experience most of the various systems the game has to offer – like teaching you how to use the survival tent.

Meanwhile the Javascript port is going ahead full steam. I shared a clip on twitter a couple days back showcasing what the intro segment looks like in the partially assembled engine, and it’s very, very pretty already. Like, good enough that I’m not going to cry too hard if it isn’t ready by the end of December. I hope to show off more as it develops.

• Bhakar, the anthro bear with multiple arms, has been added to the game. He was written by Frogapus and coded by Gena138. You can find him on the residential deck.
• New character busts by Adjatha: Pink & Green (of the Love Starz!)
• New planet busts by Crossman: Zheng Shi & Dhaal.
• Cybernetic Exoskeletons should no longer require you to wear power armor to equip them. This was the dumbest bug. I’m sorry.
• Krissy (a Christmas event) has had her encounter chances fixed. You should now be able to bump into her once it is the appropriate season.
• Jerynn should now be able to give you a collar even if you already have one equipped. Hopefully I’ve managed it in a more sensible way than last time.
• The Sydian Cuntboy’s combat busts should be working properly now.
• The mad scientist Milodan from one of the Korg’ii Hold battle bad ends should now properly expand in the image pack.
• Bimbofying a penny without a penis should now assign her the correct kind of penis (vulpine instead of canine), and on older saves, it should now use the vulpine-toting bust for canine situations.
• Dom-mode Siegwulfe won’t act like a ditzy bimbo during Syri’s quest any longer.
• Taking Nayna’s virginity should give some bolded notifications about it.
• Lots of other typos and italic bleeds fixed.

What’s new this month?

• A bunch more content for bimbofied/sluttified Kiro – particularly some good Anno threesomes, gifting her a bubble buddy (with her own bubble inventory), new talks, etc.
• New event/quest involving royalty, competing with Riya, and more. To meet Princess Nasti, you’ll need to have a penis, not be sterile, and have 10k+ credits on hand, then head to Anon’s Bar.
• New rare items: “Exgartuan” dildo and “Urta” dildo.
• New Busts: Darius, Ambassador Elyrrin, Blue (of the Love Starz)
• Paige can now grow a penis! (Note: requires the threesome event with a non-bimbo’d Kiro.)
• New art in the imagepack by Strype for Nykke and Verusha.
• New Sylvie Oral Worship scene.

For those who have followed Trials in Tainted Space since the very start of it all, back on Offbeatr (an adult-themed Kickstarter that is no longer in operation), we got some hype from the incredible Doxy, an artist of great skill and talent that I was ecstatic to be able to work with. He’s responsible for the design of Zo’dee and went on to like her so much that he spun her off into her own comic.

Now that his latest game (Sexena: Arena Tales) is about to launch on Steam, I’m happy to announce that a familiar CoC1 character may be making an appearance inside it – and that I’ll be working on inserting a Sexena reference encounter into TiTS via one of the VR stations in a future patch! I’ve added a link to their steam store page in the sidebar, so if you’d like to give it a gander, it’s right over there!

• Sluttified Kiro can now be asked about Anno and the troubled relationship between the tanuki and Anno’s girlfriend (detailed in Savin’s Talon Rogue story. There’s also a sequel if you want to dig into the fiction tab and read “Downtime”.) While I enjoyed the story, I did take some issue with how Kiro was presented relatively to my impressions of her. Now, with this new scene and chain of events, I’ve decided to embrace those events and integrate them into creating some interesting new scenes.
• After making up with Anno, sluttified Kiro has three new threesomes with the snow-white ausar, one featuring some roaming pet-play and two involving a literal triangle of genitals and mouths.
• The “Androgyny” perk can now be lost.
• It should no longer be possible to raise vaginal wetness above a value of 5 with Amazona, its derivatives, or Vanae encounters. The Vanae encounters have been updated to promote further wetness by increasing the girlCumMultiplier instead.
• Syri’s “love” discussion should now be available for more outcomes of her quest.
• The Implantation Station on Dhaal should now prevent you from going into debt by buying more than you can afford.
• Using the “Exgartuan” dildo now generates taint.
• Fixed an exploit that allowed you to use a level up to skip the turret fight on the Stellar Tether.

• Other small fixes (particularly typos!)

And back to TiTS business! I’ve got a decent chunk of content to drop into the hopper for you guys to play with as I continue to work on filling out Kiro’s “bimbo” path to be more comparable to her normal content. In addition, Lighterfluid finished paging through Paige’s content to allow for more individual genital selection. Since this required a lot of complicated work and routing of variables through a multitude of functions, there could be new bugs introduced. Be sure and make sure they get on the bug report forums so that LF can crush them ASAP.

I personally will be taking another tour through the bug reports before my next patch to clean up any major ‘oopsies’ that have been introduced.

• (BROKEN) Paige can now be permanently futa-fied, not just sometimes thanks to ghostly possession! Written by B and coded by Lighterfluid, this should be sure to please fans of girls with a little ‘extra’! (Requires Kiro/Paige threesome be completed.)
• Normal Paige now allows for more robust selection of player character genitals to interact with.
• “Bimbo” Kiro can now be gifted Dildos! Just ask her if she’s happy after giving her a Bubble Buddy, and you’ll have the option to load her down with as large a selection of toys as you like. Includes a new sex scene for using them with your choice of two endings!
• Dhaal has two new “rare” drops: a dildo named “Exgartuan” (that enlarges your assets with every use) and a dildo named “Urta” that makes masculine orgasms messier with every use. Enjoy!
• Two new image pack images from Strype: one for Verusha and one for Nykke, each visible in their respective appearance screen.

• New Sylvie scene by William, coded by me: Oral Worship. It includes some rimming, but I’m fairly certain I threw a bolded warning in the tooltip if that squicks you out.
• Bimbo Kiro now has a talk menu with two new scenes – asking her if she’s happy and asking her about the current ship. Right now the happiness is a once only scene that unlocks the next bullet point down the list, but the ship discussion should have some special variants for some of the specific ships (like the Sidewinder).
• You can now give Kiro a Bubble Buddy.
• You can now use Kiro’s Bubble Buddy on her or watch her use it.
• You can now collect Kiro’s excess Bubble Buddy bubbles.
• I also made some tweaks to Kiro’s approach events so that you can catch her making bubbles (+3 to her stock) or catch her cleaning out old ones once they’ve piled up too high.
• Bug fixes for the Nasti events, especially the duel and some virility checks.
• The Halloween event reward “Bimbo Hat” now has some special texts for putting it on and taking it off. Taking it off should be harder with lower willpower but never impossible.
• New Bust: Ambassador Elyrrin (part of the Dhaal party event).

Futa Paige was originally planned to be included in this patch, but some hiccups are holding her back for now. SOON!

Happy Halloween!

I wanted to do a lot more for this patch personally. At a bare minimum, I wanted a gender-agnostic option for the seasonal Kiro content I added and for the accessory you get as a result to have some slightly more robust interactions with your stats. This did not happen. I’ve basically spiraled into depression within 2-3 hours of getting up for the last three days for an assortment of reasons, and I’m probably going to step out for the next week to play some BG3, Hades, etc and generally try to restock on sanity while enduring the tumultuous hellscape that is the year 2020.

All the conventions I’d be vacationing at this year got cancelled. Blech.

Coming Soon: Nonesuch has some content coming down the pipe for backers possibly by this weekend thanks to DrunkZombie. I’ll push out a patch for it as soon as I get the word, “vacation” or no.

• A massive new encounter was added to the game: The Love Stars. Written by Fr0sty and coded by Gena138, this 200+ page submission allows you to meet and greet a popstar group that SteeleTech has interest in.
• Poe’s flyTo/landing scripts were adjusted to be more consistent and better handle multiple events (so I probably added new bugs).
• A new event has been added to Poe A! The Haunted House of Whorrors! Written by Adjatha, this came in too late for last year’s Halloween but not too late for this one! To unlock it, you’ll need to have Poe A unlocked, and for the game to be in the Halloween season. It is a 10% chance of unlocking late at night whenever time passes. Can you find all three endings?
• Lighterfluid sacrificed his sanity upon the altar of Paige to bring you the ability to select specific genitalia for Paige’s scenes. He’s a talented birb, but if new bugs show up, be sure to report them with quotes, steps to reproduce, and maybe even an attached copy of your save. (Apologies, he actually just built support functions to do that, but hasn’t completed that project yet.)
• Breed ‘n Brute can now proc off of tailsex.
• Bizzy’s busts should function properly now.
• Anno and Beth Carver’s party events have had their requirements corrected.
• Urethral insertion now counts for losing penile virginity.
• It is now possible to masturbate with Erra’s panties, finally.
• Fixed possible crashes when selecting random masturbations with no available masturbations (mostly only a problem for sexless centaurs).
• Losing to “Friendly” Feruze now also awards the VR item for viewing the “Bad End”.
• Kaska no longer attempts to disarm the disarmed.
• Dreg’s nude bust should now display during sex.
• Other small typo fixes and tweaks that I’ve probably missed.
