New patch day! Check out the changelog for the new hotness – the next couple paragraphs are an update on Azra development and my health.

First off: Azra’s third expedition. Authored by Skom, it’s around 150 pages of content, and I took another pass through to check up on my last set of corrections and requests. The first go had been fairly brutal – I’m picky about Azra since I wrote most of her content myself (recruitment to most of the two followup expeditions) so I’d like to avoid any significant variance in her personality or the way the her expeditions flow. I’m happy to say most of the issues I had with her characterization have been resolved. One of the NPC encounters (a male Nyrea) still requires reworking to match their biology as defined by their codex. Skom had some neat ideas that he thought were kind of hot (and to be honest, I do kind of think would be interesting on different species) that didn’t quite mesh with the established lore. I also rewrote some of the early epilogue content for characterization, even though I slipped into doing something I had asked Skom not to do in my previous rewrite request! (Sorry! I’m a pain, I know…) I’d like to start working on the coding for finished portions of Azra’s third expedition this week, and hopefully have it in your hands in 1-2 weeks from the time of this post – HEALTH PERMITTING.
Which brings me to my next topic: my health. I’ve caught some flack with previous posts about my recent health issues being manufactured, but that is sadly not so. After sliding back toward the gutter bit last weekend, I went to urgent care on monday. The diagnosis? Post-Covid bacterial sinus infection and impacted earwax in my left ear. Given the difficulty they had extracting the blockage Wednesday and the fact that my left side ear has felt a bit off for a while, I suspect that was impairing me for a rather long time. I’m now in the last half of my antibiotic course with a clear ear, but I worry that there’s one more issue to chase down. During the end of Covid, I started getting shooting pains into my neck while blowing my nose (especially the left side), as I often had to blow quite hard on that side. Well, the pain in my neck persists on and off even as my sinuses and ear are returning to normalcy. My worry is that the overpressure may have torn or herniated something around my larynx. I’m hoping that with my sinuses cleared (and avoiding pressurizing myself) I can take it easy on those tissues and recover naturally, but if I’m still having issues when I run out of antibiotics later in the week, I’ll be trying to source an ENT (ear, nose, and throat doctor) to help me get it sorted ASAP.
I don’t think it’ll slow me down too much unless it winds up being something that needs surgery. I’ll keep you posted.

- Updated some encounterText() to use encounterTextGenerator() and make them compatible with the Combat Description toggle option, hopefully reducing the number of commonly repeated long texts in some fights. (Jacques00)
- If the “Display Reputation Changes” toggle is on, changes to personality should be visibly displayed. (Jacques00)
- Added an option toggle to disable current lust level from impacting appearance descriptions of vaginal wetness. (Jacques00)

Ok so problem with the Prepare More option for Paulette on the web version is that I can’t actually click the Let’s go button. I’m in the spaceship on Dhaal and it’s not working. Not sure if there’s somewhere else to go?

where is the Venus lady? I have no idea where you mean Deep jungle for the initial encounter.
The “Deep Jungle” is the section that’s dark green with room names that often include the word “Deep”
That said, the hotfix to move her there isn’t live yet. “Right now she can be encountered in the first, easy jungle zone”
The hotfix is deploying now, so in about 30 minutes from the time of this post, she should be moved to the higher level segments of the jungle (the deep jungle and the area around the probe) for her first encounter.
After she morphs, she should be encounterable anywhere (even near Esbeth, since she’s curious about it), except for the vanae areas.
Bad news for ya fen, been looking for 2 ingame weeks straight after the initial transformation event fired… no Venus.
There is a pretty solid cooldown to get through (3 days)

it took 15 days, but she showed, might have just been insanely bad luck on my end, usually happens. Also question about the concubine option, it says “This might be a bad idea” but she flatout refuses the suggestion everytime, is it a bad end or is that just deliberate?
It definitely took a lot longer than 3 days for me. I spent at least an in-game week looking, then powernapped another 10 days away and got her in the third encounter.
Never mind, she showed up jsut took an incredible 15 days

In regard’s to Azra. Does she still have any Pregnancy content planned?
I know there’s a Bust made for it, but I don’t know if that’s still on the table considering she’s married.
I don’t have plans to pursue writing it myself right now, but I suspect that she’d be generally opposed to the idea as an intelligent woman understanding the risks on the frontier and wanting to mother her children herself, in a home.
I’m not 100% saying it could never happen, but it just seems like something she wouldn’t want to do without some form of aggressive mental convincing, or bimbofication…
For my own writing, I’ve wanted to make Emmy and Dane potential crewmates for ages, and they’re at the top of list, along with expanding the crewmates I’ve already written with more interactions.
I didn’t realize we were still getting new crewmates this late in the Rush!

So ive a question, as im a hoarding packrat for unique equipment will there be storage expansions for those of us who like to collect every single unique weapon and gear?
If we get to the planned Capital Ship, I don’t see any reason why that wouldn’t have infinite storage space for all your packrat needs. But I’m not a coder, so don’t take my word for it!
Would the capital ship mean i lose Olympia as a crew mate? As she refuses to leave the Sidewinder
Who know! It’s just a broad concept, nothing’s been written. If it’s big enough, you could put all the other ships inside it, and have Olympia’s ship as a trophy piece, instead of getting shot at.
I hope so, even if it’s not every other ship if it can work as a mothership for one other smaller ship would be better(so I can keep Oylmpia). maybe can jettison the smaller ship to pilot during a battle while leaving the rest of the crew on the mothership and the more crew you have the better stats it has for the battle? could just like, do random shots or whatnot almost like a turret you can equip as a bonus item for your regular character

That’s up to the author, though she has a nice little pad set up if you do her Homes & Gardens mini-quest, so might be hard to uproot her!

Heya Fen, on the topic of having a sinus infection, while I don’t know how helpful this will be, I did want to let you know about saline nasal sprays which can be used repeatedly.
Be wary of rhino sprays though! They work almost immediately but using them for more than a week can cause you to developed a sort of physical dependency on them, which ain’t fun.

I was curious about the boss fight against Strict-9. So I know after you defeat her, the gabilani prisoner she has is freed.
I was wondering if there will be a future encounter with said Gabilani where you meet here and she recognizes you as the ones who beat Strict-9?
The author has joked about doing some little expansion paths for Strict-9 and/or her goblin cum-dump, though I don’t know of any active plans. If she was a character who you’d love to see more of, it wouldn’t hurt to let Magenta Needle know you love her!

Hey there, public player here. Managed to crash the game on Strict-9 by getting her to 80 lust and repeatedly seeing her apply her ‘self buff’ and somehow completely disable my map display across all my saves when trying to do Paulette’s quest. Are these known issues or did something new break in the Public Build?
Okay, I found out what I did to the minimap, but I the Strict-9 crash is pretty consistent if she gets worked up to around 80 lust.

Bl00m is quite gigantic, all told, and lacks the locomotion of our Venus Pitcher here. I’m unaware if her author has any plans for additional content for her, but it’s not outside the realm of possibility.
Given infinite amount of free time to write, I’d like to give BL00M a spot on phaedra II
Maxcorp crew that tried to steal some assets from the E.G.G but got addicted to her pheromones and crashed on phaedra II and are now her dryad slave harem or something for context
