Ohh might I suggest an optional crew member/follower that has a strong chaotic or evil alignment? I was thinking along the lines of a femme fatale kind character that subtly takes over, bearing an elegant and passionate personality with a knack of danger if you choose to keep her with you. Not sure if the player is allowed to romance them, but the character will make sure that their own goals come first before anything

It’s so as to spicen the crew members list up really, and it’s for players who like an aggressive/harsh/manipulative dom that has a morally grey personality, since majority of the crewmates are all relatively friendly to the player. They can also serve as a character that could potentially show more of the kinkier fetishes in the game in the future, since it matches their personality (I.e, Findom/Blackmail/Pain play/Cuckolding/BDSM, etc).
They don’t have to majorly affect the plot or have a bad end, but more of them just doing their own goals and using the player to acheive them whenever the player lands on a planet (They can also be interactive like Anno, where they can be randomly seen in some places). They can do things like triggering a scene which may or may not have an option to be manually stopped by the player, or giving a slight penalty like in the case of Lane’s tax credit reduction which didn’t affect the player that bad, assuming the player is rich. The player can choose to kick them out through questing, but maybe let’s say doing so will remove them from the game.
Maybe have the player submit to the character multiple times or lose to them in a battle, for them to take control (For Mind control/taint corruption fans like me hehe) and have some sex scenes where they subtly take control of the player/crew while having a subtle parasitic relationship if possible. They can seem friendly on the outside to everyone in the crew, but they can become more dominant/controlling as the player allows them to be, like in the case of Ardia.
I don’t know, it’s just a suggestion you guys could do. Sorry for the long ass post, I had a lot to say and I enjoyed expressing my imagination hahaha

Well on the issue of Kiro Trust…kinda a related issue (may require some squinting, but I’ll take the segue regardless). Long story short, reintroducing Kiro to Paige seems to have a bad conditional when you get to the “handshake” text, resulting in it always pulling the “else” text instead of the “if first time” text, so to speak.

Currently, for me at least, talking to Kane for the first time after you finish the plantation quest (the buzz off/Go on bit) makes my game permanently bold until I restart my swf player. Anyone else having this problem?

I believe that it’s based on a month of time. You should check the wiki, I believe it has the time tables.
