Time to move the main plot forward, with an investigation undertaken alongside Princess Varena. Alongside new and dangerous foes comes the game’s next level, and an assortment of new powers for every class — plus some extra powers that’ve already been accessible via various means (like certain hidden spellbooks in the Windy Peaks…) can now come online!

I figure that a level cap increase and a quest that might just lead to a whole new path through the endgame deserves a version bump, so welcome to CoC2 0.8!

Hotfix: A hotfix has been released for a crash when entering the bottom right tile in the baths after completing Varena’s Quest, a crash when using the new Heart of Oak necklace, and fights in Varena’s Quest being fleeable.

0.8.0 Patch Notes:

• The second half of VarenaQuest, a Main Story Quest supplement, is now available! If you successfully finished Varena’s investigation of the warehouse, you’ll have enough clues to proceed to the next leg of her quest! This quest more properly guest-stars Varena working alongside you, along with a certain strawberry bard, to find the root of the corruption slowly seeping into the Kingdom of Khor’minos — and gives you a chance to root out what might be the most insidious source! This one’s written mostly by me, but almost the whole staff chipped in: there’s a couple new cuties by Garde, a devious seductress by Wsan, and a new bad end by Balak. And of course, big ups to Leek for coding this bad girl!
• LEVEL CAP INCREASE – You can now reach 8th Level. Includes 3 new powers for every class, such as the White Mage’s new Tempest Smite (hit somebody with Sorra’s chain lightning), the Warrior’s Whirlwind (think Cleave, but with twice the whirling), or the Black Mage’s Twisted Pyre (that permanently reduces a foe’s Magic Resistance at-will), all learnable by leveling up or visiting the usual trainers in Hawkethorne. This also, of course, means any Level 8 power you may already have learned by other means can now be equipped as well.
• Isadora sells a number of new Warrior powers themed after the Khor’minoan Legions as part of her training options.
• Experience requirements for some levels have been adjusted. This may cause the game to incorrectly display negative Experience gain during encounters until the math, uh… works itself out? Don’t worry about it. Don’t look at me, I’m not a coder!
• New Busts: Asgeir, all the VarenaQuest NPCs.

Time to round out Mayternity with one of my favorite characters: Ylvid the Orc Skald. Once the Kervus tribe realizes their connections to the mainland are starting to get serious, it’s time to start expanding the tribe, and everyone agrees it’d be a shame if Ylvid’s childbearing years slipped her by. It’d sure be handy if you helped her out with that. (Or if you lack the equipment, you can send Arona in to bear the burden. I’m sure she’ll manage.)

0.7.47 Patch Notes:

• Ylvid has a pregnancy expansion out, complete with new sex scenes and a bit of plot development for the Kervus Tribe. You’ll need to have done the Feast For Heroes in Khor’minos, then return to the chieftain’s tent in the orc camp to find that an interesting new prospect has arisen for the tribe.
• Hretha offers a new “Service” once you unlock Ylvid’s fertility (it’s helping you knock up Ylvid).
• Drifa has a new nursing scene. (Written by Tobs)
• Nieves has a new acknowledgement for if she knocked you up (only pregnancies after this patch will count for it)! (Written by Melonear)
• You can now pick your hairstyle from a handy dropdown in character creation.
• The stylists can now sell you bronze makeup and a Kervus Tribe tattoo.
• There’s a new dyslexic-friendly font available in the options menu! Let me know how this works out for y’all <3
• You can now save your own power sets for quick swapping between encounters. I know this has been a much-requested feature!

Alante can now be impregnated or impregnate you!

I’ve bundled the pregnancy expansion and (optional) futa expansion together, so you can have children together either way.

To enable Alante’s ability to get pregnant, you will need to talk to her about [Children], then [Having Children] -> [We Could Have Children]. Hopefully that’s intuitive. To have Alante grow a dick and be able to optionally impregnate **you**, you have 2 differently-flavoured choices. You can either use the new [Transformatives] conversation, or the [Children] -> [Having Children] -> [Actually, With Alchemy…] conversations. Both of these result in being able to access a new conversation, [Gift Reagents]. You’ll need to use the Alchemy system to be able to give her the necessary reagents, combining Blue Eggs with Turgid Mushrooms. Hopefully that all makes sense!

I’ve updated all of her sex scenes to support both new states where it matters, and added a couple for the futa expansion. There are also some new conversations for the pregnancy, post-birth, and futa stuff. So, a solid chunk of content for your battle-centaur wife! Enjoy.

0.7.46 Patch Notes:

• Alante can now be given items to make her a futa, with obligate new scenes for her new bits.
• Alante can now impregnate you, or be impregnated.

Hello, friends! It’s May!

I suggested in a poll we ran recently that this Mayternity might be a little off on its normal patch cadence and/or light on the traditional brand of content, by virtue of me being in the writing mines getting the next bit of the Main Story Quest underway (and having just bounced from Varena’s story quest and Isadora’s solo content right before) — but we’ve still made sure to get enough together to keep at least something preg related coming every patch this month. And maybe a little bit after, because I hear Olivia the Lupine Bard from knotcave has a massive expansion that Tobs is just getting finished.

In the meantime though, we’ve got horses of both a bipedal and quadrupedal nature and some orcs that’ll need breeding (or breeding you, as the case may be) this month. We’re going to start off with Atani’s loyal guards getting ready to pound some foals into their chieftain’s favorite Champion, and Hana’s got a new appreciation for Champs with a big baby bump — though our Discord tells me she’s a simp for Champs of all flavors already! Plus Cait might not be pregnant, but she can sure get a milf-bod going on with your help, and she wants to show what she can do with it…

• Atani’s marefolk guards can now knock up the PC with lil’ horselets! (by Skow)
• Hana, once she’s moved into her house, has a new scene for if the PC is heavily pregnant: lots of sloppy makeouts and cuddling, and the PC gives her a handjob all over that big baby bump.
• Cait and Hana have a new threesome scene: fuck Hana’s ass while she gets a footjob from Cait.
• Cait has a new scene if she has high thiccness (or is a half-leothran): either she amazon presses you if you have a dick, or she mating presses you with her strapon.

I am reliably told by Drake that Cait’s sex menu is now running out of buttons if you have all of her scenes unlocked at once. Oh no.

I’ve also been reliably informed that Varena’s quest is almost through the code pipe. Though that might bring with it a whole new level of threat…
