A Store?! Whaaaat!?

Hello Fen-Friends!

Welcome, welcome, once again to an exciting new announcement! So I know you guys have seen our Crowdmade store before, where you could purchase a few cool shirts or some mugs. But we have more exciting things in the works for you guys now!

There is a store here on the Blog itself! What?! Yeah! You heard me right! There is a store on the blog! You can purchase t-shirts, posters, and mugs galore! We’ve also got a few secret things in the works for in the coming weeks, and you guys will have to keep an eager eye on the blog for when we post up the announcements.

For now, mosey on over to that store button and have a gander around!


Oh! I nearly forgot. We’re going to be putting up a Dakimakura for the store soon, and I wanna know which character *you* guys wanna see the most!

That being said – I did notice a handful of characters you guys mentioned that weren’t represented. Next time we’ll have them up there, along with the top 3 after the winner! So look forward to the next poll!

PennyQuest Progress

This afternoon took a hit to dealing with mail and employment stuff for one of my artists, but the biggest consumer of time wound up being the second fight of Penny’s quest. In this fight, you’re battling two plant-girls with Penny by your side. Each of them targets one of you exclusively with abilities, and one of them can throw vines at Penny to slowly drag her forward for “capture”. If Penny is downed (which happens easily due to them having a pheromone attack), this happens much more often (and much faster). Of course, you can save her by targeting the “vines” enemy that it spawns so long as you don’t miss a clutch hit.

This fight has a ton of edge cases to handle, like having to give one of them a second set of tease attacks that are written for targeting you, or writing text for what happens if the last one in combat sucks up Penny (and therefore removes itself from combat). Spoiler alert: this is technically a win, though you have to pry drugged-up, violated Penny out of her clutches after. Will that have any lasting consequences? Maybe.

Coding it was a nightmare, but I think it’s mostly handled now. I just need to write one bad-end for when you lose and a suite of new victory scenes for satisfying your lusts with each other, since these creatures are too dangerous to fuck directly. I may also commission someone to come write a scene where you can choose to fuck them after winning and voluntarily bad-end yourself, but I need the regular bad-end written and in game before I can do that.

A busy day.

(P.S. I’m increasingly glad the final fight after this will be relatively simple and against genderless mining robots.)

[Backers] Penny Quest: First Fight

This patch brings with it the first chunks of Pennyquest – starting it, setting off, and facing your first foe. If you win, you are transported back to your ship for right now, and able to repeat the existing quest content to your heart’s content (until we get the next pieces in place).

0.7.231 Changelog:

  • You can now offer to recruit Penny. If you try to recruit too soon, she will reject you.
  • You can now set off into the jungle with Penny and fight a group of three red zil. Sadly, Penny’s time locked in a building with two pheromonal zil has rendered her quite vulnerable to their scent…
  • The above content comes with one new bad end. Victory scenes are re-used from standard zil but with a slight addition for Penny recovering in the aftermath.

I spent way too long writing smutty abilities for Penny to use in future fights. Next encounter & patch, you may even see her make use them.

Fenny & Penny

Today I coded B’s stuff for the lead-up to Penny’s recruitment quest. I also wrote 2,200 words for an encounter with you and her in the Mhen’gan wilds, most of it a loss scene where you’re taken to a Zil village to serve out the rest of your days wallowing in their pheromones and pumping out hybrid babies. There’s also some small flavor text for when you win the fight as well, though I will likely reuse standard zil win scenes for availing yourself of a lust reset.

Next, I’m going to work on the much-hyped venus ziltraps combat encounter. I have a small map plotted out for the simple little dungeon that has them in it, and Penny as a follower is getting closer.
