This patch brings with it the first chunks of Pennyquest – starting it, setting off, and facing your first foe. If you win, you are transported back to your ship for right now, and able to repeat the existing quest content to your heart’s content (until we get the next pieces in place).
- You can now offer to recruit Penny. If you try to recruit too soon, she will reject you.
- You can now set off into the jungle with Penny and fight a group of three red zil. Sadly, Penny’s time locked in a building with two pheromonal zil has rendered her quite vulnerable to their scent…
- The above content comes with one new bad end. Victory scenes are re-used from standard zil but with a slight addition for Penny recovering in the aftermath.
I spent way too long writing smutty abilities for Penny to use in future fights. Next encounter & patch, you may even see her make use them.
