Holy mother of god Drake coded a LOT this weekend. How much? Well, Kiyoko’s base content is now entirely implemented… all 164,000+ words of it. That’s more than three novels’ worth according to NaNoWriMo. I’m pretty sure the total content of the game just doubled, so uh, enjoy a whole hell of a lot of foxy momma.

- Kiyoko. SO MUCH KIYOKO. She can be fucked, knocked up, visited, the whole nine yards.
- You can meet your eldest kit, Kinu, as well. She’ll have a lot more content later on, but is fairly limited right now.
- Edit: Hotfix is now live with several bug fixes. Thanks to everyone who’s been reporting them!
I can’t brag on Drake and The Observer enough for this — Drake for making an incredible new parser that’s streamlined the coding process by miles, and Tobs for actually using it to its fullest effect.

Question: is there any anti-fertility or sterilizing stuff in CoC2 yet? Kiyoko sounds cool, but preg isn’t my thing.
There’s a starting trait for infertility, I believe. I’m not sure if it’s 100% baby-proof, though.
There will also be consumable contraceptives soon.
Kiyoko can be impregnated even if you’re sterile, since your “energy” in the astral plane is what causes it.

Another question. Will the next public build include patch 0.031, or will it only go to patch 0.0.29 ?
Typically public patches are entirely new patches with new content for backers and nonbackers alike. The backer patch will likely be 0.033 or something like that
(In this case it will actually be 0.1, but yeah you got the idea)

Question about Drake’s new parser: does it work for TiTS, too?
In theory it could be implemented into TiTS but it’d take a good bit of work to convert it from JS to AS3 and then even more to flesh it out and make it work with all existing TiTS stuff.
And then all the TiTS writers would actually have to learn how to use it.
But there’s a lot of convenience features I’d really love to be able to use in my TiTS writing, too.
Possible bug? (I may just be an idiot, also minor spoiler so I’ll keep it vague)
After Kyoko gives birth and you meet your new daughter, upon your next visit Kyoko has an exiting revelation for you… except I have no idea how to trigger it in battle, and it would seem as though I can’t visit her anymore. When I try sleeping again it gives me the text as if I wasn’t wearing the amulet. Please let me know if I’m missing something.
Using it in battle is unimplemented. The other thing is a bug, I’ll try to have a hot fix out for it in the morning.

Is there a way to turn a female character into a Herm yet?
So… quick question. When the game says picking up the amuet will have permanent story effects, what are we talking about? Like locking us out of other content? Making one god favour us and others not? For now I’m enjoying slutty fox wife on a separate save, since I’m not sure what’s meant by it.
It won’t be relevant for more than a year.

Seriously, not yet. I may do a scene or two here and there, but content is mostly done until Frostwood hits. Combat is under Drake’s purview, so it’s up to him to handle that. Child Kinu is the next major related thing I want to get in, so the fox herself won’t be touched for some time.
If you grind out the numbers for their sake, you’ll miss out a lot of things in your rush; Kiyoko is meant to be a long-term investment. Take it slowly. There are a lot of variations that you can easily miss, especially in lower tail counts, as well as a lot of hidden random events.
And that’s exactly why it all is on a separate save file 😀 I just thought that there may be some special dialog when she reaches her final form.

Make sure the main menu says version 0.0.31 and not 0.0.28, otherwise you’ll never find her.
