So, while Fen’s hard at work rebuilding Tavros and slotting in a sexy new shop, I’m putting a pause on my other projects to churn out a Halloween adventure. Well, an adventure that I hope will be ready around Halloween, and which apes the Survival Horror (IN SPACE) genre ala Dead Space. So I’ll be working on that for the next week or so, I reckon. Then back to SyriQuest — aka Eventually(tm) the project. Anyway, hope our Canadian brethren had a good Thanksgiving! Will there be star systems for similar planets suggested? Rather then creating a bunch of different planets with similar descriptions from those who submitted them, put them in a themed solar system. I remember looking at numerous amazon, dragon, kitsune worlds.. my memory might be playing tricks on me though..

Few questions about SyriQuest: when (I know – “when its done”, but still)? And will it make Syri recruitable at some point? Will she ever be recruitable?
When: when it’s done. Can’t even begin to speculate between time to write + waiting in codepile + actually getting coded. Could be a few weeks, could be months.
SyriQuest will not end with recruitable Syri. She’ll be moving ahead to Uveto, the next planet, instead. I do intent her to be recruited at some point.
Never played Dead Space. Will it be a ghost ship encounter? That’d fit quite well, methinks.

It’s not a yearly event, but it’s not a repeatable adventure either. Much like Fall of the Phoenix, it’s a once per character opportunity.
