Hello all! After a number of setbacks, I’m happy to present our first crack at Twilit. This was lowercase donkey’s first time tackling a transformation item, so I had a lot of feedback and back-and-forth with him further complicated by my own lack of familiarity with github’s code review system and my own family event. Once we got that sorted, things picked up, and I spent a goodly portion of yesterday whipping some final fen-polish onto the transformation events to make sure they were up to snuff.
And Adjatha wrote the text, so you know it’s killer.
0.9.071 Hotfix:
- Twilit’s breast-swelling perk is now properly gainable.
- Twilit’s swelling code was overhauled to work a little more like the in-game zaika, and have a higher swelling limit than originally intended.
- Fixed an issue with Twilit’s swelling mechanic that could have resulted into orphaned breastMod values permanently offsetting your cup size.
- Nerfed the black void juggernaut’s weapon damage bonus from 35 to 15.
- Nerfed the black void juggernaut’s spray attacks to be tagged as flurry attacks with higher miss rates.

- [Backers] New transformation item: Twilit! This tasty Dhaalian beverage will do its damnedest to turn you into one of the locals – complete with combination genital-tail and a perk that allows your chest to rise and fall in accordance with your lusts. I suspect there could be some sketchy edge-cases with the breast expansion stuff, so be sure to let us know if you bump into any janky issues in the bug report forum! - You can purchase Twilit from Harru after completing Dhaal’s main plot.
- Inspecting rocks should no longer crash the game. (Thanks, Gedan!)

And that’s it! If the list seems small, that’s because I was ramming out some hotfixes the other day and this was meant to drop last week. There’s good odds you’ll see another one near the end of the week with some more items and kineticist work.

The new Twilit Transformative will give Steele most of the transformations except for the lust expanding breasts and the Zaika Skin, I have spam used the new transformative and after it gives you the glowing eyes, ears, skin color, flat nipples, and Zaika tail. it will no longer transform Steele or give the new perk or anything else.
Looking into it. Expect a hotfix sometime today.
If your current skin color is one of the possible zaika colors, the skin event won’t proc.
Yes, plus if the skin type is Goo, than that event won’t proc also.

She’s a zaika with a huge booty who moves into the Milk Bar after the player has finished the probe dungeon. She offers credits for help with experiments and (now) also sells Twilit for players who want to be more like a zaika

Breast expansion perk doesn’t seem to work, however.
So if we click fantasize in combat with the new perk, would Steele’s tits grow larger during combat? And if so how would an enemy react?
Harru hasn’t moved into the milk bar on a few of my characters, I’ve done the dhaal dungeon and secured a ship for the other bar quests. Is there any other conditions I need to fill?

Oh my god! I always assumed that a Zaika transformation would be too complicated and so we’d never get it. I’m so excited to test this out once it goes to the public branch.
The severity of that Black Void nerf tells me why I was having such a headache with that encounter last time I played… good lord.

May I make suggestion of labeling hotfixes that instead of putting them in the same area as the original patch.
Quick question, do Extra Locations we are able to fly to only appear one at a time? I ask because I am unable to travel to Deck 13 after the Anno quest (I’m trying to get Goo Armor), and the only Extra destination available is the location of the Kara quest that I’ve been putting off.
Ignore this dumb question, just found out right after posting this that Deck 13 is down a dang elevator right on the planet. One day I’ll learn to read.
