This patch sees a couple of reworks to older content, plus some new sets (and of course, new smut scenes!):

First, from me, Right of Conquest — Arona’s recruitment quest — has had its front half significantly truncated. Previously, Arona was a random encounter that required you to be Level 4 before she’d even show up, and then needed about 7 back-to-back victories or losses (a bit less if you sexed her) to actually progress to the dungeon. In other words, it was possible to just never see her in the first place, and if you did, you might never naturally hit that victory breakpoint without just rolling up your sleeves and doing a bunch of grinding. In general, our design philosophy is to remove the requirement for busywork like grinding (so you can focus on grinding on beefy orc abs); this was just a bad and frustrating user experience that I’ve wanted to correct for a long while.

So, now, Arona will be found in a fixed location (the same tile as the Waystone, 2 steps from the Orc Warcamp) at any level. You’ll now need just 2 consecutive victories or losses to drive the point home that one of you is stronger than the other; if you win, you’ll have the option to trigger the quest whenever you want from her victory menu, while those doomed to getting orcdommed will just get dragged into it by Arona. Aside from a couple lines of dialogue, the actual dungeon is unchanged — don’t feel compelled to go restarting your save to see it again, this one’s for new players and new saves.

On the other side of things, Quin’s gotten a substantial reworking courtesy of Bluebird. For those of you who don’t know, we lost contact with Quin’s original author a few years ago — we were still working together and everything, but he sort of fell off the face of the earth. We waited quite a while in the hopes of his return, but after two years with no contact we’ve made the decision to hand the reins of his characters over the Quin’s #1 fan in the community, Bluebird. Thankfully his biggest stan happens to also be a talented writer! She’s starting off by addressing most of the issues and complaints that have piled up about the bunnyboy over the years, with plans to further expand on him in the future. I’ll let her speak for herself here:

I wanted to take the time to say thank you to everyone who has been patiently waiting for Quin’s rewrites, either to eagerly experience his new content or just to see what it reads as. It was a labor of love and means so much to me. I also want to thank the devs for the opportunity to adopt and write for this bunnyboy and for everyone who supported me during this time. 0.9.14 Patch Notes:

• Arona & Right of Conquest Rework: Arona is now found in a fixed location on the way to the Warcamp, available at any time, and the number of consecutive victories or defeats required to progress her quest has been cut down dramatically.
• Arona has a new set: the Storm Chanter. Unlocked by bringing a recruited Arona around to talk to Ylvid. With this, Arona can now fulfil the full horny trinity of Tank, DPS, and Healer — a versatile orc for any party composition.
• Speaking of new sets, Brienne now has a Dancer set. Unlocked by talking to her about Dancing, and requires Cait to be recruited. Just wait a few days, and she’ll approach you in Hawkethorne with the results. (by Wsan)
• Viv and Azzy both have new anal sex scenes. (by Skow)
• Quin’s gotten a number of updates, reworks, and new content! (By BlueBird, Coded by Squishy) This update includes the following:
  • His recruitment stuff was reworked slightly, and it’s now possible to dismiss him entirely if you rescued him but aren’t interested in recruiting him.
  • Most of his talks got entirely reworked!
  • All of his companion talks are either adjusted or entirely reworked/update, and missing ones have been added.
  • It’s easier to get affection with him now! Literally just talk to him.
  • He’s got a new small TF where you can give him paws for feet! You need to make sure you have the alchemy kit and he should approach you afterwards.
  • His camp talks have been expanded. You can ask him about the location you’re in if you want some extra insight on what’s going on around you/want his thoughts on it.
  • He’s got a unique first time pregnancy now that results in a set of twins, Magnus and Teela.
  • He has some small scenes in the nursery, a repeatable talk about the pregnancy, and a new talk about your kids and, if applicable, any other kids the pc has had him sire.
  • A short bit after this first visit, his mom will stop by to visit for a week.
  • Quin’s ability turn a couple of people into statues has been retconned out — we’re not really sure where exactly Bubble was going with that, but since it didn’t actually DO anything useful we’ve decided to just scrap it.
• New Bust: Storm Chanter Arona

Meanwhile, from the writer’s corner-

Speaking of reworks, I’ve been mostly occupied lately with a bunch of tweaks and expanded content for the mid-to-lategame. I’m about 2/3 through my to do list, including some new Ryn and Cait interactions and rewriting Hawkethorne’s tiles to reflect Khor’minoan reconstruction efforts, and a small (roughly Temple of Elosa-sized) dungeon for the Frostwood. I love little dungeons like that, and they just take a couple days to write out.

Skow and Garde are both working on new Companion Quests for Azzy and Atugia, respectively. Cait won’t be far behind, now that Tychris has been unlocked; I shared some content outlines for CaitQuest 2: The Quest For More Cats with the writers room, including Big Fenoxo himself, and got a very positive reception, for which I am grateful.

We have a big chunk of new Coastlands content this week — at least until you drag a certain piece of that content back to your Wayfort for safe(?)keeping! Most of this content’s aimed squarely at Corruption enjoyers: you’re going to be exposed to a whole lot of tainted musk here, among other things! But, for our pure Champions, there’s also a new appearance by Lumia’s ever-faithful winged maidens, always on the hunt for dangerous beasts.

Hotfix Live

• Fixes a crash issue with Renia’s guards. Sorry about that!

0.9.13 Patch Notes:

• New Coastlands encounter: Corrupted Harpies, led by a Siren — a harpy whose corruption has led her down a path you might recognize from CoC1! (By Dreamer44) Comes with a hefty set of win scenes, especially for corrupted oral lovers. Cait can help too!
• New Coastlands encounter: Renia is here! If you’ve forgotten, she was the bright blue alchemist centaur demon in the Khor’minos siege busy corrupting hundreds of people. She now has an expansion wherein you can… bring her to your Wayfort? Surely this won’t have consequences. You can also choose to finish her off as penance for her crimes, or just leave her where she is. (By Wsan!)
  • If you do take her in, she has a lot of sex content and even a small quest that enables some… interesting behavior in the Wayfort. She also comes with two of her “creations”. What are they? You’ll have to ask her. She’s a scientist, so she loves to yap about her work. Have fun!
• New Coastlands encounter: Valkyries, on the lookout for new monsters — and with new sex to reward you with for your help. (by Gardeford)
• New Busts: Electra, Nash, Lusamine, Renia’s Creations, Arona’s Chieftain Bronze Set (all by Moira!)
• A bug affecting one of Maidensbane’s reward weapons (causing it to buff the ENEMY rather than YOU) has been fixed, and the massive damage spike from an arena reward weapon (the Thunderblade) has been tweaked down to make it less of an instant pick over everything else in slot.

Meanwhile, on the writing end of development-
I’ve gotten Prince Vrannus’s content to the point where staff and community writers are able to jump in, and all the NPCs in the estate have been claimed by writers. Chugging along at good pace there. While they’re getting started on that, I’m taking next week to poke at a list of various small tweaks and scenes that’s piled up — things like changing Hawkethorne if you get it aid from Khor’minos, adding in an option for dickless PCs to help Ryn during her cage confession scene, stuff like that. Maybe even a chance to use that new Massive Milky Mammaries spell from Ynes on an NPC or two 😉

Alright, the finale of the Tychris storyline is here at last: finally, you can break the princess’s curse and free her from her lusts (or see the results of any other decisions you might have made). If you’ve been holding off on checking out the new city until the grand plotline was finished, this is your call to jump in and see the City of Sorcery.

And if you’ve been following along with us all this time, I hope you enjoy the payoff (and a couple new scenes with some curvy salamanders, too)! This bit of the quest will pick up in the throne room, the morning after you’ve fingered your culprit of choice.

0.9.11 Patch Notes:

• Known Issue: Bimbo!Vaska currently blocks the throne room scene; we’ll have that fixed as soon as a coder wakes up! A coder woke up, hotfix is live!
• BEFORE YOU GO TO THE THRONE ROOM: If you’re interested in onboarding to Tethys’s eventual sex scenes, she has a new scene that’ll only trigger while Kythie’s cursed (and you’ll need to have just finished fucking Kythie’s ass, in specific). Leave Kythie’s cell after a rough sodomy session, and Tethys will now offer you a helping hand to get cleaned up. This might go some unwholesome places…
• You can, finally, whole ass break Kythie’s curse. All the setup’s already in game, just wait a day and turn up at the throne room in Tychris. (if you haven’t already finished the investigation, there’s a helpful walkthrough pinned in the spoilers channel of our discord!)
• The Throne Room event, of course, has variations based on how you resolved the investigation — one of which involves you getting shotgun married to Kythie, complete with a new sex scene for piping her pussy for the first time, to make sure your particular branch of cursebreaking takes. Don’t worry, Champions of noble standing AND character will get their chance to marry the princess later, if so inclined, but corrupt bros get first dibs for now!
• Uncursed Kythie can then be found in the palace gardens, with new talk scenes and a new scene for bedicked Champions (as long as you’ve fucked her before) getting to use that cleavage she just lets hang out there.

Meanwhile, on the writing end of development-
I’ve just finished up working on my revisions to Right of Conquest, the quest to recruit Arona and deal with the orcs. I’m pretty happy with the result — just making her easier to find and reducing the grind to get her quest, but it also gives the Champ a little more agency too — it’s YOUR idea to use Arona’s grudge against her brother to overthrow him now, at least if you’re on the Sub!Arona path. It’ll also come with a new set that’s available more or less right away after recruitment, courtesy of Ylvid: a Storm Chanter set, focused on healing and defense. I’d say it’s a chance to get in touch with Arona’s sensitive side, but half her impetus for unlocking it is getting to harass Ragnhild for the gear!

With that done I’ve started work on the last lingering bit of Khor’minos’s plotline: visiting Prince Vrannus’s estate on the Coastlands (voluntarily or not)! I’ve written myself into a bit of a corner here, in that it’s a dungeon that’s bound to be full of content that isn’t exactly my taste, but luckily some of the community writers and staff are keen to help bail me out. Hopefully it’ll be smooth going, but wish me luck all the same!

Or threesomtober, depending on where you live, I suppose! I thought it’d be fun to have the staff hammer out a few new threesome options throughout the game, and take the opportunity to add in something particularly spicy from the community submissions pile as well, as an extra themed patch to end the month on.

Don’t worry, your regularly scheduled Orctober won’t be forgotten — though it’ll likely be at the end of next month, as rather than a grab bag of new orc scenes I intend to sit down and redo Arona’s initial encounter and some of her quest lead-ins. I think she’s a contender now for the most annoying Companion to recruit (and it’s not obvious that she’s recruitable, either), since you have to grind for her random encounter and then do it several times to get her to fork up the quest to get her. Intent is to smooth that out: put her in a uniform (and unmissable!) spot, and reduce the grind you need to go through to open her quest up, possibly down to just 2 encounters if I can make that feel right. We’ll see! Either way the encounter’s sex content’ll remain the same, if not get slightly expanded, and you’ll still be able to leave her to her own devices if you aren’t interested in her of course.

0.9.10 Patch Notes:

• If you sent Cait to help Princess Kythie with her libido problem, you can now Flirt With Both when visiting Kythie with Cait to get a pair of new threesomes (one of which requires both girls to have lost their anal virginity).

On the writing end of things, I’ve finished with Tychris for now, and I’m cooling off writing a small thing for Karithea the Hellhound: getting to meet some of her elder children, who’ve now gotten the chance to return to the Frostwood with the healing of the druidic schism. After that I’m back to Coastlands, and wrapping up the last dangling thread from The Siege of Khor’minos: getting the traitor his due reward.

0.9.9 Patch Notes:

• There’s a new character in Tychris: Electra! (By TheObserver) You’ll find her in the same tile as the Waystone, during normal business hours.
• As a merchant, Electra has a few new items, as well as the usual talk scenes — and a mighty eight new sex scenes.
• You now automatically unlock Tychris’s Waystone once you’ve visited the city at least once; this should stop edge-cases accidentally locking players out of the city, and remove the need to treat it like a dungeon in the code.
• The Elosan Grail causing friendly fire damage unintentionally has been fixed.

Alrighty friends, it turns out Vasko’s got a little more content lined up before we WHOLLY finish out the Princess’s Dilemma. Plus we’ve had the chance to start working our way through the quite massive backlog of user-submitted content that’s pilled up; there’s still well over 1,000 pages of stuff in the queue there we’ll be picking through as Act 3 carries on, not to mention what the staff’s cooking up.

Speaking of cooking, I’ve finished writing the last essential bit of bows and whistles for Princes’s Dilemma today (the quest finale, uncursing Kythie, and setting things up so you still have access to Kythie’s sex stuff; I also wrote a scene for if you’ve got Cait helping Kythie with her libido problems and want to make it a group activity. Poor girl needs all the help she can get!) and set up a scene for taking a crack at her mom, though it’ll probably be a while before I expand further on that; gotta get back to the Coastlands and main plot pretty soon. Leek’s currently coding a quest from Skow that’s been waiting in the wings for a bit, expanding on Jessie the salamander (of the flame variety, from Khor’minos) but I reckon he’ll be on Kythie right after. I also understand Balak’s just about wrapped on coding Observer’s Tychris NPC (a short blonde merchant — no relation to any existing NPCs, we assure you).

In the meantime, though, we’ve got a new pregnancy for femChamps courtesy of Vasko, and some new scenes with Clem and a few other early game NPCs!

0.9.8 Patch Notes:

• If your Champion has a fertile cunt and takes a load in it from Magister Vasko after taking his side in the Princess’s Dilemma quest (or from Vaska if you bimbo’d him instead, all this applies equally to his bimbofied counterpart), you can now be blessed with a Frostscale Salamander pregnancy (By BlueBird!)
• Vasko has reactivity for getting knocked up with his kiddos, and you can visit them from Vasko’s menu.

We’re investigating having it reappear in the Coastlands — it’s one of those awkward things where I really do like the reactivity of having the cult actually LEAVE an area once you’ve kicked them out, but it does kinda suck to lose access to content. We’ve got a hefty patch for you today with a brand new Coastlands encounter, a new vixen in the Kitsune den, and finally your chance to score with the gothy madame of Khor’minos’s cowgirl brothel!

On the backend, Gedan was nice enough to help us update to Patreon’s new API they’re rolling out, so you shouldn’t see any interruptions over there, and we made a subtle update to the Patreon banner (and a less subtle one to SubscribeStar’s). I also updated our Steam page with some new art snippets, including the updated banner, and I got to say I think it looks pretty nice now.

Last week I finished up the post-Princess’s Dilemma denouement with the court and uncursing Kythie (one way or another…). I’ve still got to draft out her interactions for when she’s uncursed, but I think I’ll be able to have that done by the end of next week. This week I’m treating myself to writing a Kythie/Cait threesome — you and Cait can both go hands-on to help the princess manage her overactive libido. I managed to crank out 3,000 words in one sitting yesterday, and finished the first scene at over 5,000 total today. Needless to say, I was having fun! • A few days after finishing her talk scenes, you can find Sayumi down on the 1st floor again with a new event; seeing this will unlock her Sparring options.

• Brint’s upgrade to the Gym now no longer requires that you sleep at the Frost Hound specifically; it just needs a couple days to pass period. We’ve also expanded the time that the various NPCs in the gym are available, so that should make actually seeing June’s content a lot easier. (I definitely didn’t spend 10 minutes banging my head on a wall trying to playtest this and not being able to because of the sleeping thing!!)
• New Busts: Bimbo Vaska and Tentia the Succu-cow Bimbo, Aisling the Goblin, Refnir the Corrupted Lupine (all by Moira!)

It’s finally time to tie up the investigation into Tychris’s cursed princess!

Plus, Fleep’s given us some delightful new sex scenes with the Coastlands bandit gang, and there’s a host of new sex scenes with Tychris’s Magister Vasko.

Also before we get into the new Backer Content, there’s been a hotfix to the Public and Steam builds to address a number of bugs, particularly with Argoth/Arona’s encounter. Sorry about that! See “Fixup” below for specifics! This has bumped the public version to display itself as 9.6; this does NOT include any of 9.6’s content!

Another Hotfix is Live:

• It was possible that encountering Charys in the Temple of Elosa without sexing her wasn’t counting for the purposes of talking to Vasko; that should now be fixed.
• We’ve changed it so that you can now distract Vasko from his office once every 12 hours, once you’ve unlocked that option — this should prevent you being softlocked into one ending.

Hotfix Live:

• Bimbo!Vasko should be interactable again after the event that creates her now.
• Some gender-confusion in the oily mander wrestling has been resolved.
• Clementine’s first time pregnancy should display the correct number of sheepies.
• Some text fixes here and there.

0.9.6 Patch Notes:

• It is now possible to complete the investigation aspect of The Princess’s Dilemma. (Uncursing the princess, and your material and nuptual rewards, are my current writing project and is well underway!). Once you have sufficient evidence as to who the culprit is, or have apprehended them yourself, you can talk to Tethys to resolve the quest.
• New Tychris NPC: Gaspare, the Emissary. After having met Ynes, you’ll find an emissary from Tychris’s rival state, Maidenbridge, having just arrived in the palace. He has a number of talk topics that may shed some light on your investigations.
• If you’ve met Lusina and brought her to the Marefolk camp, Gaspare will have some additional information; you can bring this to Lusina for a new talk scene.
• New Tychris NPC: Captain Tyna. (By Skow!) The Captain of the Palace Guard can be found in the barracks on the first floor. She has a the expected talks, as well as a trio of repeatable sex scenes in her private office.
• New Tychris Event: Wrestling! The city loves its athletics, and what better way to show it than some oiled up, naked wrestling — and a little training with the guards on how to conduct yourself with the world’s more amorous threats. (By Skow!)
• You can now sic Cait on Kythie and use her Mallachite talents to tame the princess’s libido at any time, rather than JUST when you first arrive in town. This should reduce the amount of grinding on the princess’s abs low-Libido Champions need to do to to progress the quest! You can also visit Kythie without Cait, if you throw Cait into the mix after having laid her out yourself.
• After you’ve seen Sigrune once, you’ll unlock a [Prince Philandros] talk with Princess Kythie; this will lead you on an event chain that will, finally, unlock the giant’s non-combat path through the Old Forest’s ancient archway. (This doesn’t change anything post-encounter; don’t feel obligated to start a new save!)
• If you burgle Kythie’s jewelry, you’ll find one of her maids in Tychris Palace’s courtyard being punished for your crimes. You bastard.
• By sleeping with Eirina, you have the opportunity to steal a tome of valuable forbidden magic. Besides learning it yourself (if you haven’t done so from Ynes), you can pass this tome off to either Lady Evergreen or Magister Vasko.
• Giving the tome to Vasko unlocks a suite of sex scenes with him! (By Bluebird!)
• After snooping around in Vasko’s books, you’ll have a new talk topic with Tethys about what he’s been researching.
• After having gotten the invitation to Ynes’s ritual and then having either supped the forbidden soup in Vasko’s office and found the Velunite amulet outside or having seen his receipt for a grail and visited the Temple of Elosa, Magister Vasko will have a new talk sequence.
• Said new sequence can go a number of different ways. On one route, you can unlock Vasko’s sex scenes (without having to give him the tome); on another, if you happen to have a couple of Bimbo Brews in your inventory, you can ALSO unlock some very DIFFERENT sex content with the Magister. (Mostly by Bluebird, though I wrote the initial sex scenes here!)
• All the way back on the Coastlands: the Coastland Bandit Gang (with the salamander, bunny-bard, and foxgirls) now have a suite of win/loss scenes. (Courtesy of Fleep!)
• We’ve altered the button placement for stairs going up/down, after I spent entirely too long in a braindead loop going up and down the same pair of stairs. Up and Down are now in CONSISTENT PLACES on the UI.
• Fixup: A bunch of errors in Argoth/Arona’s demonic encounter should be cleared up now. They got a little gender confused, happens to us all.
• Fixup: Demon!Argoth/Arona’s bad end now functions properly.
• Fixup: The Salamander Spellblade now has its proper stats, rather than being a Spiral Blade copy.
• Fixup: Eirina’s stats have been tweaked on her sidequest.

As stated, I’m working on the quest wrapup and post-quest Kythie stuff now. My coders, meanwhile, are digging into some other Tychris NPCs: a certain blonde merchant for starters! And I think the edits to Astraea’s Tychris content will be done soon, too, so she’ll be on the code block before we know it.
