A new demon’s waiting for you at the Wayfort, and you can choose a more corrupt way to start Azyrran’s recruitment quest. We’re still finishing up the Hornet Hive post-dungeon stuff now, but that’ll have even more corruption (and honey-brained!) content.
0.3.14 Patch Notes:
- After Winter City, you’ll find a new potential friend waiting for you at the Wayfort the next time you return. Bring Cait along for a bunch of extra content with her. Begins the content to rebuild the Wayfort into a place you can call your own.
- THIS IS NOT FINISHED AND YOU CANNOT SIGNIFICANTLY ADVANCE REPAIRS YET. It’ll be a long-term project, probably added onto throughout the game’s lifespan. (Written by myself and SomeKindofWizard)
- You can now find a distressed Sheepfolk girl in Harvest Valley. Help her out and she’ll move to Hawkethorne. (Written by Strawberry Tea, coded by Squishy)

Also, also… More importantly than the Demon Elf Guard Captain, will we ever see the hottie that kept you out of the city gates (and in her own gates) ever again? I really kind of liked her (and her hours and hours long rides). Plus, she was really sportsman-like about the whole fighting to get into her (puss-)city, I’d love to spar with her more.

For what it’s worth, I’d love to see if there was more of her, even if it was just changing her text to reflect that it’s friendly sparring instead of breaking into the city, and then the same repeated scenes or something.

Does the way you start the hornet quest effect or change it at all?
It changes some things DURING but not AFTER. You can still do the corruption ending if you went in the normal way.

Can’t find the sheepfolk at all
its an event involving a crazy horseman battle you can’t run from i beat it without even noticing.
Got it to show up. Tried agian after reloading a previous save and this is possibly one of the hardest randoms in this game to get triggered. The odds are way too low.
Yay for corruption content! Shame most people were pure in CoC1, I understand there might be a bit less incentive for this content.
I tried the corrupt route. It made very uncomfortable
The corrupt route is hard to balance. On some enemies it appears very rapey, and going off the deep end to transform some of the pure people in the world almost always involved some really dark shit.
But their were moments when it wasn’t so bad. The corruption of the Goddess is one of the moments where what appeared to be the right choice was clearly the bad one, and nothing about her was rapey.
The other issue in COC1, which this game is making an effort to avoid, is their was a lot of content that was corruption locked (you couldn’t see it once you had a certain corruption) but little that you lost for being to pure. So not being corrupt was flat out the better way to play.
But I didn’t know more people went the pure route. Do you have a source on that?
As I recall it was a survey that was posted on the old blog about the content people wanted, and about how they customized their characters. Obviously participants were self selected, but I believe it had a decent amount of respondents. I do believe I’ve also seen Savin say something to that effect, but don’t quote me on that one.
I thought the idea of reconstructing the wayfort was axed as it was gonna take too much writing. Did something change your mind on the topic or will this just be for the corrupt npc’s and castle hawkethrone will be the main base eventually?
Reconstructing the wayfort was basically always a planned part of the game.

both is im right. she is a demon but she is not about doing demon things something along those lines.
When i got there she claimed to not be interested in spreading corruption, but the ideas still burn in her mind. So i think you will be able to influence her in either direction
Well I think we found the beginning of Cait’s corruption route. That aside as a person who loves picking at and writing stories, I have a few things that might be an interesting adventure to write here. Going from knowledge gleaned from the first game most demons are out for their own agenda. As reading through some of the corruption bad ends the champion often went out to cut their own power and influence. The question here is how does Kas maintain a rule over these bunch of mavericks that have the potential to overcome her? What kind of moral or societal code is still respected by those that are corrupted? Perhaps the biggest question is one you are already trying to answer, what makes demons different from each other (as in why they turn out as certain species)?
i have the answer but i’m not going to say coz i want to find out if i’m right.
So looking at the new content, I kind of feel that once you have Arona if she is dominant but is moving with your party, that she should have random scenes with all your party members. With or without the champion. Since a dominant Arona would take w/e she wanted. At minimum you would kind of expect a 1 on 1 with Cait for example. Kind of like how you have the berwyn/cait scenes.
Would definitely want to see scenes like that in the future.
Ok, new favorite NPC, this sheepgirl is SO DAMN CUTE. Oh my god i love her, she doesnt quite beat Kiyoko, but of the non-followers, she’s pure perfection. I so hope there’s more for her later on.
Are there any plans to make a Character Viewer like there used to be for CoC1? i remember really enjoying being able to see what the visual representation of all my TF had on my character.
There was no official character viewer for the original game, and there needs not be any for this game when you can upload your own portrait.
A character viewer would be a monumental waste of time and energy that could be better put towards actually creating content.

Is there anything we can do when we get our corruption to 100%? Like will we affect the other characters or some new options opening up or is that something for future updates?
Dont know if bug but Clementine’s sex scenes seems to suggest that the PC and her have done sex before if you try to initiate one, even if you haven’t had sex with her yet.
I feel like i’m missing some crucial info about her sex life and how i’ve already done it with her before.
