Following up on more knot cave content, if you agreed to side with Olivia during the events, you can invite her back to the Wayfort to serve as your court bard and socialite, entertaining your guests while you’re away. Since the content is so massive, this is just the first of multiple parts; there’re about two or three more updates’ worth of content with her if you like this sort of thing!
Meanwhile, most of the staff is now busy working away on the next iteration of the Main Story Quest; I’ve roped in everybody but Skow (who’s busy doing a different quest anyway) to contribute a mid-level boss while I’ve made my way up to the final confrontation… which thanks to all the various branches in The Siege of Khor’minos so far is looking to have at least four different versions. Fun times ahead! If you haven’t already done so, you might want to make sure you’ve cleared out the cult activity in Harvest Valley, the Glacial Rift, and Dracia — letting that fester all throughout the siege might have some knock-on effects when you finally bring the fight to the demon army!
In the meantime though: dogs and dog accessories.
0.8.4 Patch Notes:
- If you chose to recruit Olivia and the lupines from KnotQuest to your Wayfort, and did not gender-bend them, Olivia is now available amongst the pact for interactions. This is the first of three content packs TheObserver has written for her, but it alone clocks in at almost 200 pages — half of which is new sex scenes. For comparison, the entire dungeon she’s from is “only” 300 pages! Tobs really went all-out on this one.
- Aside from the above sex and the usual battery of talk scenes, Olivia has a gifting system where you can give your good(???) girl some treats. Like Lustful Liquor. I’m sure she’ll enjoy that 🙂
- Various fixes courtesy of Spotty and Zag.
And yes, you’ll be able to breed Olivia in a future patch — just needed to be coded in, but that’s another 250 pages of content…

- Balance Adjustments: Thieves’ 1st level at-will, Fading Strike, has been reworked to be a little more useful, and the Warrior’s 1st-level recharge, Rend, has had its Bleed damage increased. The Trident has had its inherent Bleed damage reduced, and its bleed can’t crit!

I think Jstar has considered it but nothing is set in stone to be written for it. Still some other bits of the Knot Cave content that’s to be implemented first and if it ever gets written it probably be when we start churning out Tychris content.
That’s why I never save after doing a quest with unfinished content. I just do it without saving then wait until it’s done so I can make the most optimal choice for playthrough.

I doubt it but it would be pretty funny if you took the genderbend lupine route but knocked up Olivia in her defeat scene so she shows up to the wayfort after a week demanding you support her.

This upcoming content will be the end of Act 2, then there is Act 3, though Act 3 won’t feature as many locales and side content as Act 1 or 2.
Are there plans to continue updating post act 3? Is act 3 planned to have a town attached or is it mostly just a final dungeon?
Act 3 is basically just one explorable zone and then the (presumably quite large) Final Dungeon.
Though we’ll also be adding some much-delayed midgame content like the City of Tychris and Cait’s personal questline resolutions during that time.
Once Act 3 and the finale are completed that will probably be the end of development, save for things like bugfixing.
Honestly that sounds perfect to me . The games been phenomenal so far so adding in another settlement to explore and other side content, then wrapping things up sounds awesome. Before ending will there be things like going through and making sure every character has art, as a part of the finishing touches?

Kind of makes me sad to see the end of the road after being here since the days of CoC. Will there be another sequel coming to the series or is there an entirely new project planned afterwards?
Or maybe even side content developed by fans to be added to the game? I would love to see it keep going with side content even if the main story comes to an end.
I am curious if they will do either a game set in a post apocalyptic world, or if they will do a game with a Sci-fi Fantasy mix to it.

Big main dungeons. There’s several small dungeons (think closer to Temple of Terrestrial Flame) in various stages of design or completeness for the nearish future.

I took her parlay and task, and accepted the corrupted lupine pack (male, non-genderbent). But i cant seem to find her square anywhere? Anyone else having this issue?
Went on discord just to find out too answer is really simple if you have her bedfellows quest completed and it says she’s gonna come to the base then you just need to go to the tile above Rumie. I had to do it 3 times before she popped up.

That was a whole saga when Knotcave was released, initially I was trying to find a way to do it but without Olivia in the Wayfort I had no idea if it would even work (in the sense of getting both her and the genderbent Lupines) until she gets to the fort. That and either me or the person giving out the edit instructions didn’t get it/explain it right and it was a dead end for me then.

oh yeah cause i totally have a save from fucking december, thats my biggest problem with this game, you add new shit to old shit literal months after the fact, so far that most people dont have any saves from back then so if they want to try out the new shit they either have to make a whole new PC or use the console/save editor to reset quest flags

the closest I got to having her do group content with the pack was the throne scene and they just carried her off to her room while talking about them wanting her to ask them for sex instead of just fucking her and I’ve exhausted all the talk options

Wish I’d known Olivia would be an option down the road, I would have done things much differently. Now I’m locked out of content I would have enjoyed, without a backup save for that specific quest because there was no indication that it would be updated. Really shitty.

What are you talking about lol? Olivia says she’ll go to the Wayfort if you do her route in-game, and we were told her content was still being written in a blog post as of two months ago. The only way you wouldn’t have known is if you just don’t read stuff.
