Lyric is back for more and bigger than ever!

0.8.5 Patch Notes:
- Lyric can now receive some… enhancements. It’s a late-game sequence, but if you’ve completed both The Land of Milk And Honey quest and the A Taste of Draconic Power quest, and if you have Lyric in your inventory, you can approach Jyrranaz, the vesperan alchemist within the Hive, to begin a sequence that’ll transform Lyric. This sequence can be completed with either Dragonsblood or Dark Dragonsblood, for the same effect. Be careful: it’s one-way.
- Tall Lyric comes with a bevy of aesthetic changes, as well as an entirely new library of sex scenes! Not only that, but because Lyric is part dragon, you can train them to take a more dominant role during sex, if you want. Even feeding them electrum can turn sexual if Lyric’s feeling a little dommy. It also includes changes to their talk scenes, as well as a whole new topic concerning their size and changed perspectives.
- Because they won’t fit in your pack anymore, Lyric’s also gotten a promotion from a combat consumable to a summon! Once Lyric is tall, you’ll automatically be given the skill Rally Lyric, which calls them to your side during combat. Despite their new size, they’re not really combat-ready, so they instead fight with ammunition-based skills involving potions and firebreathing. And, if you’ve overfed them, their rear end is still a formidable combat tool.
- The following also apply to Small Lyric: there’s a new altercation between Arona, a slave-trader, and Lyric, an ex-slave (does not end in sex); and, if the PC uses Dragonsblood to turn themselves into a dragon, Lyric will comment on it while struggling to contain their overwhelming lust.
- Finally, Tall Lyric can also be made herm and also includes pregnancy content, just like Small Lyric!
- New Busts: Tall Lyric and new Smallyric (by Moira)

Lyric’s probably one of my top 3 characters in the game, and I’ve been looking forward to this expansion since I first heard of it, so thanks for your hard work!
the dom training is so good, and i’m sure the booba lovers will love the new booba. i think i’ll console my way to dude lyric personally but overall i LOVE this update, at least from what i read on your patreon. i’m excited to see it in-game now tho!

Really liking the new Lyric stuff, hopefully they’ll be interactable in places other than the camp in future. Honestly barely use camps anymore once the embers got added.
Also adding both versions of Lyric as a bedmate option would be fantastic, since i’m throwing wishes out here 🙂
Tall Lyric is a fun addition to a character I didn’t much care for previously! I enjoyed their male!dom content quite a bit. Would have liked a proper oral scene but I always want more fellatio lmao

I’m not a fan of how Lyric having a dick seems to automatically opt you into bottoming for them the first time you try to have sex post-TF. Would be cool if that could be adjusted, or even better if we could un-dick them after the fact if we’re maybe having regrets. There was a lack of futanari sub bottoms when I gave fem Lyric a dick in the first place, so it was more appealing, but now I think I’d prefer her wangless especially if I’m gonna be obligated to bottom at least once because of it now.
Otherwise, though, 10/10 Lyric is best

Is dragons blood the only way to do it. I don’t have access to any and never got the quest to get it.
The (dark) dragonsblood can be bought from Viviane after completing the “A Taste of Draconic Power” quest. Not to be confused the “crystalized dracian blood” key item you can get from the dracian quest.
Yea never got that quest ever. Checked my quest logs not in completed failed or ongoing
During the Demon of Ice quest when you go to Dracia there will be a door called The Dragonbarrow Door inside the keep. You have to give it some of Daliza’s Blood to get a key item to bring to the witch Viviane (its easier to have her at the wayfort)

there is a high chance I either didn’t encounter them or probably did something stupid to them in their frozen state?
is there a way to get them again from the rifts?
Maybe you removed Lyric from your inventory?
I think they go hang out with Ivris in Hawkethorne if you do that.

I’m surprised this got in the game first when Agni’s expansion was written a year ago and still isn’t in the game.

forgot to grab the draconium crystal on my playthrough so i never got the quest, is there ever gonna be a way to get the dragon stuff without the crystal or get anther chance at it later?
Could probably save edit to make it so you got it.
I can give myself dragons blood or dark dragons blood, but there is no option to give the crystallised dragon blood or to flag the quest as complete instead. Of course id prefer if there was just a way to do it in game normally without the demon of ice option.
It also doesn’t allow for the new lyric content, since it requires the taste of draconic power quest to be complete.
You can try to call the door opening menu/function in dev tools (ctrl+shift+I) RynQuest2DragonbarrowDoorsMenu()

Big Lyric looking good, but portable bag sized lyric also good, choice impossible must break metaphysical layers in order for both to exist at same time to spitroaast bag lyric with big lyric.

I hope this doesn’t come off the wrong way, but I can’t help but laugh at the Harpy Matron being the first revealed character for CoC2 only for her to possibly have 0 scenes towards the end of the game’s lifespan.

Lyric subs by default; you can choose to train them to make them dommy.
That said, after they’re made big, the first sex scene you have with them will be them being dommy. It’ll lead into a conversation where Lyric says they didn’t mean to, and you can encourage it if you want.

Male Lyric can also be made big, yes. The bust is essentially the same, except without the boobies. If you make Tall Male Lyric a herm, he remains flat-chested.

We may never see another update to Equivalent Exchange, but hot damn, if this is the price to be paid, so be it. Thicc Mommy Lyric has come, and so have I.
I find it a bit funky how in the aftercare scene of DragoLyric’s first sex she mentions having had only a vagina a few hours ago when I had a futa KoboLyric long before this came out. Wouldn’t be surprised if it was wonky for those that had male Koblyric too.
Has there been not any word about Steam’s new NSFW ban and how it will affect the game there? The quietness is very concerning here.

Due to the government of the United Kingdom’s vain attempt at internet censorship, it is legally necessary for Fenoxo.com and Smutosaur.us to block traffic coming from the UK. The alternative would be to use highly-exploitable, highly-insecure age “verification” which not only potentially leaves your data exposed to third parties (or at least out of our hands, where we can’t guarantee its safety) but following the UK’s requirements, would quite probably bankrupt Fen, or at least force him to no longer offer Trials in Tainted Space for free, as each individual transaction must be paid for by the website in question (rather than, say, the government demanding we do so).
I am sorry for the inevitable inconvenience this causes our UK players, but there’s not much we can do about it.
It would, of course, be extremely unfortunate and certainly morally abhorrent if you used readily available technologies to effortlessly bypass this traffic block to our site and every other site that is being legally strongarmed by the United Kingdom’s government into protecting you, a legally consenting adult, from being able to access.
Given the similarly moralizing tendencies of the rest of the Commonwealth, I would not be surprised if Australia and Canada follow suit in the future. Of course, I say this living in a state here in the U.S. where I cannot access PornHub because god forbid I, a 32 year old man, want to look at titties.
Really I can’t recommend having a VPN enough in this day and age, even if you don’t live in an area currently suffering from shortsighted government overreach.
While I’m on the subject, I might as well address a common concern over the last few days regarding the Collective Shout censorship campaign that’s affected Itch.io and Steam. Thankfully we were unaffected by the banwave; most, but certainly not all, of the content taken down was flagrantly in violation of both services’ TOS but I have seen several reports of other games (even SFW games) with the LGBT tags being hit as well. I am sure the coven of hags responsible for pressuring the payment processors into this course of action are deeply distraught by that side effect.
Regardless, it is our intention to finish Corruption of Champions II no matter what a bunch of bitchless bureaucrats and moral busybodies have to say about it!
I am genuinely thankful to Patreon and Steam for being as reasonable as they can be these days, as your support, through them, is what keeps me and my staff employed and able to pour our hearts into this weird little game full time.
For right now, our plans remain unchanged: we’re deep into work on the penultimate dungeon for the Main Story Quest right now. When that is done, we’ll be splitting our focus between expansions for Act 1 (with a revamp to the Hornet Hive dungeon and Azzy’s recruitment, a new town to visit, and Cait’s personal quest resolution) and the last explorable zone as the meat of Act 3, the Coastlands.
Thanks for sticking with us, even if the world seems a little more shitty than it did a week ago.
